Thread: On feedback and conversation with the ranger designer
WOOHOO!
...and I was spamming the SWG DIscussion board trying to get some attention (in case you didn't know, look for the thread titled "Rangers - do we exist in the devs eyes?").
Mineras,
ThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyouThankyou...
Dude, if I had an extra $3500 and 65 signatures, I'd totally put you on the ballot to be California's next Govenor!!! ![]()
That is good news Min!
I think one of the most important things is that we know our voices are being heard. I write software for a living myself, so I understand release cycles and why its not wise to promise specifics early on.
At least we can be sure they are listening. I'll be very interested in seeing the release AFTER the current one in testing. If they can just fix one or two things with Rangers, I'll be most happy.
In the mean time, I sitll love wandering around the great outdoors. ![]()
Drat you! I hatehatehate you for teasing me.
Well, not really.
I'm glad to hear that the Devs are listening and that (in theory) some progress is being made. Let's hope that it's not all smoke and mirrors, and that the trend continues for some time to come.
All together now: Wooooooo!!
you guys need to back off.
i too am dying to know what we're going to get. but im content with the fact that i know that our posts on this forum arent wasted. that someone is looking out for us (mineras) and that they WILL fix the profession that ive so badly wanted to play.
just keep workin away at those skills, and before you know it, we'll be fixed and have uber cool things that we can do too. ![]()
the guy said he cant talk about it, and yeah thats a tease. but be happy knowing that something is being done.
people are NEVER satisfied. all of you that want to know what they're planning are the same ones that 2 days after the stuff is implemented will bitch and moan about something else you want, or that the fixes arent good enough.
By the way, can we just keep the same correspondent for a while? I would hate to see someone build up a relationship with the devs and then have to see a new guy/gal broken in. Seems counterproductive.
