Alrighty folks!

I have started a more productive dialog with the Ranger designer. Hegave me an overviewabout some of the ideas he has, and gave me a better picture of where the Ranger profession is headed. They are definitely listening to us when it comes to what needs fixing and what needs more depth and enhancement.

I can't really post the email he sent me yet, but I am VERY excited about what he is planning, and what they have in development for us. The people who sold back their ranger skills already are going to deeply regret that decision.

We are going to be getting some lovin'. Good lovin' at that. And some bug fixes, too.

So glad to hear something positive in this forum. It's really nice to think that that SWG has people looking out for each class like that.

I can't really give any specifics, because, like Q-3PO always says, things are subject to change. I will say that they are liking our suggestions, and that we may very well see some of them go live.

I was devastated when I first came to the Ranger forum and was reading all the broke/non existent things I had to look forward to for my Ranger career.

This is definably good to hear that there is a dev/designer that has plans for this class.

Clearly, this is nothing but more propaganda and rhetoric from Mineras in a vain attempt to secure his correspondant position. Boo to Mineras, the tight-lipped corporate lackey of fictitious SOE ranger devs! Kidding!

Great job Mineras! I'm really pleased to hear that the devs have been receptive to our feedback. I'm sure they recognize the emptiness of the current skill line and have been searching for realistic ways to fill it up.

I know it's a huge tease to say that there are good things coming, but give no specifics. Under the circumstances, I thought it better to let everyone know that there are good things coming, even if I can't give specifics right now...better to encourage and give people something to look forward to than to say nothing and let people wonder if anything is happening at all.

Well I will be baked and served up as cookies! I am so glad to have my thoery about the Ranger Dev being a myth, be proven wrong. I am so glad you have heard back from the Dev and am glad that they are listening to us. It is understandable that you cant give out any details. I am just glad that there is a dialog and that is an excellent start.
