Thread: Solo -vs- Group: Which are you?

I like grouping, when the group knows what it's doing, which is rarely. It's better with people I know, but after about a week and a half, the novelty of grouping wore off and everyone went back to finding ways to solo.

So, like pre-CU, when I solo'd out of necessity, now I solo... Well, because I have to, usually. I can go to Dantooine and join a hunting group, but then I can't target resources--it's strictly XP, and sometimes factional.

I guess my answer is--I like to group sometimes, but I prefer solo play, because it's the only way to get out of the game what I both want (a relaxing time without dorks training me or going "hahah u f4g") and what I need (an in-game living).

Looks like the majority run solo. Now we know.

I love to work in a group....but, finding a group to hunt, is all but impossible at times. So I end up doing alot of solo..just enter sniper mode conceal and kill

Way back at the dawn of time when we founded the fair city of Loka DeSuna there were groups of guild members hunting together most evenings. Then came buffs and kickass armour and I became a Master Ranger, soI solo huntedbecause I harvested much more that way. If people asked me to group even guildies I would decline. Now post harvest changes and post CU I group 90% of the time, mostly with guild friends. We have gone full circle and I am loving it, I realise now how much more fun it is to group than hunt solo.

I do both, but I would say percentage wise I run higher in the solo category.

Both but I am more solo than group (due to work schedule)

I tend to go group hunting with the guild for recent creature spawns and the occasional space missions, but tend to do ground missions solo as well as faction grinding solo.

I used to solo all the time, now with the CU a group of Scouts and AS alts can easily outharvest me.

So if I am hunting for cash/critters I have been grouping much more but I still solo 70% of the time due to the difficulty of finding a decent group.

I must say I have been enjoying grouping more that I thought I would, but that is probably because I was such an anti-city, anti-social player before. I still have people astounded that I am not in a guild or have never been in one....lol

I do both. I prefer groups because it's faster, but a lot of times people don't want to follow me around to wherever good resorce spawns are.

And no, I never use rescue. If someone is getting hammered, a few headshots draw arggo a lot more effectivly....
