Good to see there's no hostility here.. unfortunately I'm loathe to ask people to justify their opinions because of the behavior of people on the other boards

I agree with everything you said, DWolfe. I like the pristine wilderness too, and I think there should be things to stop that - I think only one per ranger (just ONE, not one per ranger per planet) would help solve that problem. About the severely limited storage capacity.. I'm not an expert but I don't think that would be a problem... usually when I enter a building the items don't even load until I've been in the interior space for a 30-60 seconds... so I'm pretty sure unless you enter the cabins, they shouldn't slow you down.

As for vendors, I don't have an opinion on that - it wouldn't bother me either way. As for abusing them to hunt heavy spawns... if they followed the same rules as other player structures in this regard, I don't think it would be a problem, would it? If so, maybe they need to change those rules for all player structures.

The unobtrusiveness I also agree with, as I like the pristine wilderness too. I don't know about sunken/underground structures, personally I'm not too thrilled with the idea... but I was thinking something that's not ugly like the Corellian buildings, like a log cabin sort of thing, that would, while being obviously man-made, would also blend into the surroundings somewhat. I think that together with being rare, this would keep them from making the wilderness planets too "civilized."
