Thread: Sweet Creature Recycler Action!

Ok here is the big question that dogs these recyclers..
Does the loot neede to make them still drop in the game? I almost never see any recycler part loot on the Bazaar searches, and thats on Chilastra.
The only parts that I had to go out and get were the spinner blades. I bought everything else (4 pulverizers, 2 red wires, a cheap copper battery, the creature recycler schematic, and a fully crafted agitator motor) off of vendors or the bazaar. But to answer your question- I don't know if all parts are dropping. I CAN confirm that the spinner blades are dropping, and the drop rate wasn't too bad for me.
I got the last spinner blade with a guildmate's help and it really seemed to break the tedium.
Click on the link in my sig and check out the LINKS page there. It has a links to a very helpful post on all the recyclers and also the Pub 12 Loot Table listing.
I've just completed the Metal, Ore and Chem recyclers, got 2 Agitators built and just need the Spinner Blades to built the Creature and Flora recyclers. It's been fun.
I also need to sell all the hide I've been buying off the bazaar and recycling, I can't use all of it
I'm still work on my Recycler. A guildie of mine made one of them and I dumped all of my hides, bones, and meat into it and I was like "WOW, I need one of these for myself" lol.

Coincidentally, we cannot craft it, but it helps us to factory run almost all of our traps and camps single-handedly!
I save all of the resources I harvest while on Kashyyyk runs with the guildies, and recycle them for crating HTFB's and P-Darts.

I hateses you
I hateses you
I hateses you
but in a good, rangerly way
I just need some blue wires and one schematic off, oh some thugs of some description on Lok (thinking about it makes me go GRRRRR) and for the past week or more it seems the Bria loot table is out to lunch
I'd not mind, but when they first came in I looted half a dozen or more coils of blue wire from npc's on Corellia and later deleted them as 'junk' because I needed some inventory space. After all, if i'd got that many that easy there must be LOADS of them about...
Grats on getting yours together tho!
[grits teeth]
and best wishes to your recycler... sooon, preshus, yesss, soon, the nasty wireses callsss to me...
I hate to break this to you, but I think blue wire is only required for crafting a tumble blender, which is not needed for a creature recycler. The agitator motor requires red wires, which you can get pretty easily from chunkers in Narshall.
Hopefully this will save you some time :>

People are only building the CR??? WIMPS!!!
I won't be happy till I've got all five recyclers in my machine shoppe. Want to get them set up with some odd loot parts, drilling mechanisms, other 'industrial' looking stuff, and have them staffed by some scruffy droids....
Yeah, I've got issues... lol

Why, trying to get rid of your stash finally?

I love mine. Actually carry it with me all the time in my pack, for "cleaning up" crap resources after helping folks hunt and just harvesting random stuff.
For those that asked, the recycler lets you pick a type of resouce to recycle (meat, hide, bone, horn, fish, etc) and then when you put some of that type of stuff "in", it kicks out a generic resouce (like processed meat or hide, crushed bone, etc) with stats of 200 across the board. For Ranger crafting it's awesome, since MOST of our stuff doesn't care about resource quality. Make a schematic for camps 1 time using recycled resources, and never make another. It's also quite helpful when you end up just hunting a planet and harvesting whatever you feel like (if nothing good is in shift) for xp or just cause, as a Ranger, you can't bear the though of killing a bunch of critters and NOT harvesting SOMETHING... then you take all those bits and parts at the end of your hunt, and recycle 'em down to just 2 or 3 stacks of recycled organics, instead of 6 or 8 or 10 different small stacks that aren't so useful. They're a pain to get all the parts for, but it can also be fun (it's something to do), and I've found mine to be quite handy. I'm even considering getting one of the ones that'll do metals too, so I can just use a generic metal in my camps and traps that call for it (makes it that much easier to do a schematic and factory runs). Whee!
The only wrinkle is camo kits. You can't use the meat, hide or bone that has been through the recycler to make the camo kits. It makes sense though, you should have to use "local" resources to make a "local" camo kit.
Camps and traps, that's what I use my recycled resources for mainly.
If you can get your hands on one, I would recommend it.

That is pretty much all I have been doing for the last several, I have hours and hours of experience hunting every part of all 5 of them. If interested just send me an email in game. By the way it is kind of fun, at least a lot more fun than hunting damn AA's and CA's and is quite rewarding. Hope to hear from someone. Thanks
