I think I'm gonna go MasterRifleman / Master CH with the character I'll be getting from the FS slot. I may be doing all of my "Rangering" in D and D Online.....

My toon on Wanderhome is a male Twi'lek, so the chances of the hawt side overcoming me are very slim. Plus, Ive got a very nice black and gold outfit that I wear. And I already have my camo outfit for "Rangering", since I wont be going ranger with this toon.

From what I have seen, Male Twi'lek are the most susceptible to wearing that garment!

And Calc's spent many happy hours trawling the cantinas and taverns of some of the seediest towns and cities around, just proving that theory...

I picked Ranger specifically because I played them in D&D all the time. You could count on me to be a wilderness type in almost any tabletop game I played.

Ranger still holds some appeal for me, but it is dwindling, I'm sorry to say. I do make decent credits off of harvesting, but that is more because of Cryos' dedication to the profession.

As for Devs, I fail to see why a profession is put into a game and then pretty much abandoned. You would have thought of something like a synergy bonus could be acheived if you had Ranger and CH which would have made the non-combat wilderness type professions more appealing.

Iconic professions. Ok. Chewbacca was a Scout. How come that didn't stay?

When you think about it, aren't almost all of the original professions iconic? You can find something on each of them in the Expanded Universe.

I miss being a Ranger. It was more than a profession, it was a virtual way of life. It wasn't for everyone. But those who took it up became family.
