Well I am now officially a Force Ranger
Master Rifles
Master Ranger
Master Scout
Novice Medic
3 skill points in Jedi Passive Survival branch of Heightened Sense for:
+5 to Camping, Foraging, Mask Scent, Trapping and Terrain Negotiation.
I don't care that at least 3 of those won't actually do anything - I AM A FORCE RANGER!!!
happy happy, joy joy

As for Medic. I use a Stimbot. As long as you are on good terms with a master doctor.

Stupid question: isn't novice medic a necessity for that?

So you people have already opened your force slot and mastered Ranger and Rifle on it?
Or can you get force skills on your first character?

I'm in the process of dropping Pistoleer and Mastering Rifleman.
I plan on keeping novice Medic and dropping the final 3 SP on FS Melee Defence. I figure of all the lines, that's what I'd need most...

I'll keep my current config until I am able to open my 2nd character slot... which will take about seven years, me not being a grinder.
Then, I think I'll follow your guys' advice.
Thanks a lot!

I believe you needPharmacology 4 to load it (takes Stim-As only) so you would have to transfer it back and forth with a medic friend to refill it.

Well, what if I have a master doc friend who loads it for me. What do I need to use the stimbot?
Or, can anyone use them, once they have been loaded???

If you are in a group with the droid (no matter whose droid it is) any group member can request a stim from it, regardless of their individual medical skills.

Anyone (in the group?) can use one, but it will only use stim A's. These only for for, what, 50-75 points at best?

If you are strickly PvE, then I suggest novice Medic. I was master pistoleer, master ranger, with novice medic. now I'm rifles, ranger, and still keep the novice medic. It's just such a nice help to be able to heal yourself real quick during or after a fight. If you dont want that then I suggest up to level 4 of Ranged support in marksman. Those specials are nice, especially Suppresion Fire at box 4.
