Maybe my 3 week break messed with my head a bit but don't you want to stay away from Enraged Bulls too? If I remember right they like to KD and dizzy you and then pound on you. Unless your a master melee profession I wouldn't touch those things either. And I believe the regular Bulls have disease not poison. Poison is bad but disease is worse. If the bulls had poison you wouldn't have to go get healed after fighting them.

You want to be careful of Bull Rancors though, they have a nasty poison

Eh whatever works I guess. I remember I got my trapping off of Huurton Stalkers and I did it unbuffed and unarmored. Probably not the smartest thing in the world to do since they DB but at the time there was no wookiee armor and I was too cheap to pay for buffs(and I still am). I'm not exactly sure how I even did it. Now that Iget freearmor and free buffs from the guildI get kinda reckless sometimes. I think its time for a trip into the woods without them to see if I still know how to hunt properly.

hehe, silly wookiee. 
actually, i know what you mean. i went out yesterday to talus to gather a little scaley and wooly hide. i figured it was just paralopes and dalyrakes, so i don't need a buff. hehe, I was wrong. This was my first unbuffed Master Pikeman hunt, and i was burning through the stim packs like crazy. the critters weren't hurting me, /polearmSweep2 and /polearmHit3 were killing me.

i like to set them up on dath about 500m off the path from the outpost and the village..... i always get someone that comes over just to see what the heck it is. i usually get the comment "damn, i could see this thing from 500m away!" that is one of the greatest things that i can hear in a day!
