Fodder, it's most of the handacks that are unharvestable, at least in my experience. I think only one type is, the lower ones.
Gorax are like NPCs, but the reputed underlings, the Gurks are creatures, with the Kings being harvestable/lootable.
Just adds to the oddness of the game.

JBMat,
Quenkers dont have bones either nor do Thunes. I fiqure at best they are filled with giant air bladders. Yeah thats it its air bladders or cartidge that explodes on dying. I used to have a list of creatures that were missing bone but anymore I just stopped caring.
And i think it was half of the Hanadaks that were harvestable and half that werent. I think in the Hanadak case its to close to humanoid? And in the case of our Thune issue its the word "mother" and the game doesnt want us to go out and constantly kill things with mother in their titles.
Im sure this will be addressed during the Ranger revamp.... (hhehehehe i kill me)

Better not fix these things before the Fishing Upgrade! We need those dev resources.

Thune Mothers have never been harvestable even though they should be.

Roll on the FU! hehe.
I've just learned to acept the fact that very little in this game makes sense
Only reason I can think for some creatures not having bones is if they have an exoskeleton and for somereason we cannot remove this bone structure from the animal intact enough to get any amount of units...

Do not go down the path of the exoskeleton explanation. You'll just end up with even more mental dissonance.

I couldn't agree more. I found myself thinking the same thing, but then decided none of it was rational.
As far as the original topic I have run into the same thing.

Glad someone else mentioned the Hanadak issue, to go with the Hostile Thune Mother's. This has been like this for as long as I can remember and I've been playing since beta. Ack.
