Ooh, ooh. Please tell. I'd love to kill a Gorax. And I'm not on your server, either, so it's safe to tell me. Come on, spread the love.

When it comes to finding something that is a non-mission spawn, what I've found is that about the only time you can find it anymore, at least on my server, is to look for it shortly after the server reset. When you get on towards the evening with everyone doing missions and such, you just don't see many random spawns anymore and things become impossible to find.

And why do you want to kill the Lorax?....

He was an environmentalist, you know...

No it didn't

Well if the StoneSkin Hanadak is a sign of the Gorax's potential spawn than I've seen it. It was in the Desert to the north on Endor. I was actually out looking for the Gorax when the StoneSkin spawned. 27k ham and very high resist to everything. I tried kiting it into Mereks but it would never attack them. Months ago before the Gorax was put back in the game I found a StoneSkin spawn. I was a Commando/Creature Handler then and had a few pets that could tank it while I did DOT burns on it. I kill8 of them one night. It just keep spawning over and over again. Every 4 minutes or so. I've not seen the Gorax yet but I'm still looking. Anyone on the Chilastra server wants to get a hunting party together to look for it give me a /tell.

I also attacked a stoneskin hanadak while looking for a Gorax. He whupped on my group pretty thoroughly. I didn't know he was a POSSIBLE indicator of the Gorax, so we let him live... The beauty of rumors is they tend to not be true.

What is a Gorax and why do you guys want to kill it?

What it is people already told ya, but why? Besides the above mentioned hillarious reasons, you might wanna loot him for your local weaponsmith... his drop can be used to enhance weapons. Been a while since I killed one (back when they were spawnable from the marauder themepark), but think it was gorax bone shard or fragment. Good luck to all you hunting him, at least a few of my friends have seen it since being reimplemented so I would say that there is new hope

So, I did a little forum research and found some info. Sadly, us rangers aren't needed to find the ever inconspicous Gorax. They have a set spawn point. I found it yesterday. I hate the way the krayt graveyard is camped, so I'll let you find the waypoint on your own. I'll give you a hint. The Y axis is negative.

You are trying to kill, right??? Before I search the forums, would you do mea favor? Could you confirm that they spawn at the point? THat would make me more ambitious to search the silly forums.

Hmm, well it says in the astromech stats that the stoneskin hanadak is in the top 10 least killed creatures.
