Do you want only templates that include Master Ranger?
I would say that would be the best...most people know if they are only here to dabble, that the Tracking line +whatever combat skills that they can get is the way to go.
I forgot to mention that you stange folks with Master Ranger and Master Squad Leader, Master Dancer, etc should post yours as well...
Hey now, if SL had some more stuff and was really cool, and got a few fixes, it and master ranger would be the ultimate group/hunt leader template. Like for the Rangers of Bria huntsI used to do all the time. Honestly, with as much firepower that came along, I didn't really need to help out with my little pistols. Master squad leader and master ranger could/should be the ultimate safari hunt leader. Just like master rifleman master ranger could/should/is the ultimate sniper.
Am I the only ranger pistoleer?

The second Ranger I have planned (just need to pick a server and species) is:
- Master Ranger
- Master Pikeman
- Medic 1000
I have never been a Pikeman, but I have seen them in action. The ability to hit multiple animals at once means that you can take out whole spawns at a time. When hunting with a Pikeman I rarely bother to shoot - I just run over and harvest the piles.
Master Ranger + Master Combat profession = 18 extra skill points. It look like most everyone uses these for three boxes of CH or one box of medic.

Master Ranger - Master Rifleman - Medic 1,0,0,0
Main:
Provides the player with hunting skills and harvest bonuses to complement a very powerfull combat profession.
Pros:
Massive Damage Output (rifle)
Single Pull Capability (rifle) - Over 40m a rifleman has a huge chance to pull a single creature from a pack
Camo Bonuses (ranger) - Using camo kits give the player many shots without getting attacked
Prone Bonuses (rifle) - Using prone gives lots of shots unagro'd, coupled with Camo too you get 20+ shots un-agro'd
Keep Critters At Range (ranger) - Pheascene and Adhesive Mesh slow and root creatures
Harvest Bonuses (ranger) - You can harvest more off a single creature than most
Damage Types (rifle) - You have a massive selection of damage types to hit creatures weaknesses
Able To Heal (medic)
Able To Track Animals (ranger) - Using /areatrack enables you to find rare and valuable critters
Single Pool Shots (rifle) - /headshots allow you to attack a creature and work on one pool
Cons:
Lack Of Melee Defenses (rifle/ranger) - Compared to melee classes, week in defenses against creatures
Range Causes Harvesting Problems (rifle/ranger) - Have to run to target to harvest
High HAM Costs (rifle) - You will need enhancers (food, spice) to hunt effectively.
Lots of SP Cost (misc) - Ranger and scout cost alot of SP, could be spent elsewhere
Short as i could get the descriptions of pro's and cons eheh
