Say it with me now...predictions are hard to make, especially about the future!

Clarify your context, do you mean the ones who has justified reasons to sream and whine, or the ones who just scream and whine for the sake of it?

Rangers kill critters, CHs tame them.
Antithetical professions mainly.
And what are people going to do post CU - I predict - SCREAM AND WHINE FOR FREAKING DAYS UPON DAYS
Anyone want to bet against me?

I don't think Rangers should be able to ride better animals than a CH or to have a higher control level then a CH. I am both and I love both, but I would not agree with that one. What I would think a Ranger should be able to do that others can't do with an animal is use a "stalker" trained my a master in /areatracking to enhance his tracking abilities, to extend well beyond the 500m range. You would give the animal say Enranged Rancor to track and the animal would pick up it's scent and dart off (still under your control by implants tuned to the ranger and the animal. Cybernetics are going to be implemented apparently). It would track, avoiding all potential for fights until it finds it's query. Then you would be alerted by the animals alertness and stealth (hiding but watching) to the location he had located your "Enraged Rancor or Enraged Rancor lair". You then would go to the spot and begin the hunt. If you were a MCH you could use up to 3 "stalkers" to aid one another. These could also be flyers. A flyer woud circle the above and wait until you came to the spot and called it back to you. The same could be done with NPC's but you would almost assuredly not be allowed for players because BH's would scream foul, and the we are not Bounty Hunters. I could see it for players if say a player said they were trapped and hiding and needed help (This is assuming that possibility in the CU areas) then you would use your "stalker" atuned to the person's scent would "track" their location and a rescue could then be mounted.
In this way the our pets if we have them can be used in a Ranger way not a CH way, nor infringing on the BHers territory.
