Don't let Rori burn you out man, that place is evil. Your Yavin avian will come.

yes, i know. those 30k reward packs are the reason why these docs refuse to pay respectfully. i said it when they were introduced and i'll say it again, infusing a huge amount of quality resources into the game through any yahoo that's been here 6 months has deregulated the "simulated free-market" and has forced the hard working scouts/rangers to sell uber quality materials for scraps.
I'd still rather hold on to my stack of meat than sell it at 100cpu. and I'm taking names of Docs who are opportunistic at best, but continue to charge 15-20k for buffs. haha, we could organize a server wide Ranger boycott and refuse to work for ANY Docs for the next 2 months. man, talk about economic meltdown!

Let's all meet up at the Coronet Starport - I'll bring picket signs and cookies if other people bring tents and beer

No matter dude. Novice Scouts in group beat us, that's the problem.
Our droids are nerfed without a point to fix them.
It's a pain on the flurry server to get a contract for 50:1 or above. I have 25k of 991OQ dathomirian avian meat that I'm not able to sell as my doc is not buying it anymore and 3 autions on the trade forum went bad!
I'm really discouraged about the hunter profession.
New players sell the veteran reward for 5-6 millions and the docs buy them all. With 3 of them there's no need of rangers. There's no need to check the quality around the planets as they get the best resources.
Again I'm sad. I'm thinking to drop all my scout/ch abilities and do something better.

well, its a question of supply and demand. and do the math by the way: those vet rewards go for 3-4mil on Intrepid, and that equates to 133.xxx cpu. I've never, in my entire time playing, seen high quality OQ and PE go for less than 200cpu. And 200 was usually a "favor" price.
I'm not giving up on Ranger though, because i still think its worth having it. I'll just bide my time, and if we wait long enough, the contracts will HAVE to fall back into our hands. and like I said, take down names of Docs who are taking advantage of this, and we'll hit them later. I'd rather go broke than break to pressure and threats from Docs ("oh well, I'll just wait for a noob and pay him 100cpu instead").
i'm still a Master Ranger, and I can still harvest more and faster than any noob scout (not bashing noob scouts, just stating fact). so if the Docs know what's good for them, they won't alienate their material providers.
In the meantime, stick with stocking up guildies and friends. that way you can at least do a fair trade for buffs, or clothing, or weapons, or armor... we're still going to be a pillar of this game.

I can't believe people are bitching about not being respected when being paid 100-150CPU. Although this does explain why a full set of doctor buffs is not 4K anymore.

actually, people are complaining because they're being offered 100cpu for meat that SHOULD be selling for 250-350cpu. and if buffs were 5k, we wouldn't have to sell that high. and the reason why it sells this high is two fold: a) the meat comes from animals which are somewhat difficult to find and drop at a rate of 1k/hour for a Master Ranger, and b) the stats are OQ=9XX and PE=9XX... so good luck finding high quality Rori avian like this on your own if you're a Doc.
this meat is worth much more, and we're getting double-pumped because of the 6 month vet reward.

There was a guy selling them for 6K but he never made many sales since he charged such outragously high prices.
(You may look atmy account creation date and think I am lying but the forum account was created after my wife and I had been playing the game for a while.)

maybe i get caught up in this thing because i have a slight bias against certain doctors. i don't like to see a Doc charging 20k for normal buffs (2300-2500) just because there are no other Docs around. if they can't offer us fair prices for the bufs, and buy meat for pisspoor remuneration, well that's just bad taste.
sorry if I've been getting a little negative, its just something that burns me up.

You dont have to buy buffs from 20k doctors. You could fight to your level unbuffed.
Simple SWG Scout/Ranger economics - We dont set prices, the customers do

well, if i dont have to buy at 20k, i dont have to sell at 100cpu.
in any case, I'll keep forking over the meat to guildies instead, cause they'll trade me free buffs. but the point remains valid. i think (some) Docs take advantage.
