Rangers of Bria (RoB) is a informal neutral guild business based on the Ranger profession and is doing excellant. I was first involved in the group as just a hunter and recently became one of the4 Hunt Masters. We post a weekly thread on the Bria forum asking for requests and letting Rangers know our group exists.

Once we get orders for the high-end resources, we just organize group hunts for those resources. When I started...I was lucky to have 100K in my account. Now, it is not unusual for me to have several million. Since the Hunt Masters have these nice amounts of cash it is great for everyone. We organize the hunts and pay all the Hunters immediately for what they harvest and then get with the buyer to sell it. We pay all the hunters the same CPU as what the buyer is paying but with such big groups, we can move quickly and the Hunt Masters endup harvesting a ton of resources themselves too which makes us money. The buyers (expecially crafting Masters) love us because we deliver large quantities of the best resources.

The hunts are great because everyone knows the point is to harvest resources andnotto worryabout XP because the money makes it worth it. We just go hunting and have a great time chatting and pestering each other throughout the hunt. We have Neutrals, Imperials, and Rebels and the standing rule is you have to come covert.

Now as a Hunt Master, I get at least 2 or 3 tells requesting our services each time I am on and we are having to turn the small or lower CPU orders away because we know we just won't have time. We are starting to hear from people whoare a friend of a friend who heard about RoB and would like to place an order. Just about half the converstations end with "Thanks...RoB is great!" It is nice to be part of such a fun, well respected, and profitable business all-in-one. So yes, you can make a ton of moneyrunning a Ranger business.

Carpeh,

I may be interested in helping out with this sometime if I have time. My big problem is that I do not have a large network to go with or check on the best resources around. So, if you ever want someone else to help out, just send me a tell. I also currently have a resource vendor on Tatooine in our city.

AR on Gorath has done this pretty much since it started. We are a pretty loose PA, everyone is on at different times and from around the world. We are mostly all Rangers, but we do have a Doc, a merchant and an ID.

The guild collects resources thoughout the week, and our Merchant crafts camps and traps. We sell them on a vendor in Falcon Crest and, after paying for vendor fees, clear ahealthy sum each week. Exceptional resources go to our Guild or into Falcon Crest to help out the Docs, CMs and others that we hunt / play with -and onto vendors for sale. The guild is encouraged to help out the community (and there is a resource broker in town that facilitates this). However, every member is free to pursue freelance contracts and to invite other guild members to help them with those contracts.

Between the White Falcons and AR, we started a weekly hunt club about 3 or 4 months ago(?). That has been a very profitable venture. It's amazing how large the stacks have been during some of these hunts. We have been hired by groups to go out with them and apply our trade...

There are many business oppertunities in this game, you just have to identify them and do it!

Stash (and other Chilly Rangers), we have a pretty good network of about 20-30 rangers on Chilastrawho are moving slowly towards what the original poster outlined. Right now we keep each other updated on resource shifts, and hopefully we're some of the first to know about where the good resources are. Some work together on collecting those resources, help each other out with individual contracts, etc. We're hoping to set up a vendor sometime soon, a central location to sell these resources and other scout/ranger things. It's a pretty informal and loose network at the moment, but some of us want it to evolve.

If you and your buddies are interested, contact Kyyran. Or Ekip. Or me.

The issue I found is that I can get two enraged rancor missions on Dathomir for 38k apiece and run them in a few minutes with help from a commando. Even at 65cpu for the current shift of Dath avian, it took me an hour and a half to get the same amount, money-wise.

I tend to run money missions for money, and keep my organics for myself and friends.
