Thread: PETITION: change the box4 title for tracking from hunt master to TRACKER
I haveone point to add,and two pointsto reiterate, to this incredibly constructive and intelligent dialogue:
1) I like the title Hunt Master, it is, I feel, one of the best titles in the game.
2) Petitions are not only immature, but they are not held in any regard by the dev community. Rangers do not petition.
3) The Hunt Master title DOES relate to the tracking line, which is actually our uber version of the scout Hunting line. Tracking is a tool for hunting, and the same line also contains our harvesting bonuses and bonuses versus creatures in combat. The title is entirely appropriate.

Please dont take away my Hunt Master title. Its the only title i use.
Tracker sounds too much like a snack bar and besides............... it looks cool.

Everyone knows me as the hunt master in my guild and its cool i have the title to show it
hehe - sincewe get survival xp for fishing, do you think we can change the title of our camping branch to "master baiter" while we are at it? Well, I would be willing to compromise for "lord baiter" as well....
No, but seriously, "hunt master" really is more descriptive of the tracking tree than tracker is, as this tree contains all of our creature knowledge and harvesting skill mods....

Oh just freaking wonderful.
They bork up the stuff we do have, then give us CRAP we don't want, like milking, and gathering freaking eggs, and say we got stuff in the last publishes.
Now they want to change a title.
Why can't they fix the broke stuff before they worry about the little petty crap?
Freaking devs - I swear programmers have no freaking common sense - ticks me off mightily.
Where is my 6th point of contact firmly up their 4th point of contact statement - oh yeah, TH got mad at that one - well it fits (the Airborne know what I mean, the rest can guess)

I don't think I could have said it better had I tried. 
By the way...I like both titles. Tracker is, in my opinion, more versatile for all Rangers as we do Track players. I am very fond of the Hunt Master title too though. Man I waffled on that more than a Democrat.
