I agree that the game is becoming about jedi. Perhaps it should be renamed Jedi Galaxies. Then there wouldn't be any more arguments about what belongs in Star Wars.

I have been hanging in there trying to give the game a chance, but really have no interest in Jedi's or BH's. I stayed with ranger after the respec because I had finally found a profession that I really loved. It doesn't involve PvP, which Ilike, and it had a lot of freedom. Grouping is nice, sometimes, but I love ranging across the galaxy looking for good resources. (maybe I should have given up TKM then. Ranger/TKm soloing? Hmm.)

I think that if they give rangers skills to protect Jedi, then that will become the primary, perhaps only thing a ranger can do.

I hear ya guys, Im all about getting rid of jedi or starting a non jedi server, but lets face it, it will never happen. Soon, there will be so many jedi we wont have a purpose, Im just trying to get ideas so we dont get left in the dust. Ranger til the end.

I have actually been working on this since CU. Several guildies and I are building a "No-Kill" list of rebel Jedi and circulating it to reb BH and Jedi as well. As a MBH and MR, it was getting frustrating to spend the time and resources to track down a Jedi from the terms only to find out that they were a reb.

The response from Jedi has been overwhelming. THey are very thankful and impressed that there are at least 3 rebel BH on our server with values and integrity. Our idea was to possibly build our new guild (CU pretty much destroyed out old Guild)into a group of Jedi Protectors.

The BH are happy cuz they now know who to leave alone and the Jedi are now able to start networking together. My hope and dream is to be able to use this list and the contacts from it as a jumpstart to really making an impact on the gcw. Imagine what would happen if 100 jedi all banded together with their "protectors" and started taking over each planet one at a time. The entire galaxy could be swayed within a week (possibly sooner).

If anyone is interested in receiving a copy and updates of the "No-Kill" List, send an in-game mail on Radiant to Felerof Cegal, Thuradane, or Hadyn. Since this is an open forum and there are imps here as well, please not that you will have to meet one of us in game so we can confirm your faction. After that, any you refer to us will receive the list and update as well.

I think Antarian Rangers were neither dark nor light, they simply had a calling and a devotion--to the Jedi. My own character is an ex-Antarian Ranger who felt herself called back to duty to serve a friend who'd become a Jedi. It causes a lot of conflict in her, though, because he's a diehard Imperial-turning-Sith and she's anti-Imperial-and-anti-Sith.

She has faith that there's good in him, I guess. Don't ask me, it wasn't MY idea, she did it on her own.

Noble idea, although allow me to ask you this:

Would you, as say, a master ranger, and hence only a mastery of only one elitecombat profession, really feel confident in going up against a fully skill-stacked BH in PvP, even if you did have a Jedi to tank for you?

What about the ability to take Ranger along with Jedi skills? If Ranger becomes a Jedi protecting profession, would we need to worry about Ranger/Jedi being a combo that no BH could kill?

True but most crafters are jedi anyway. although most BH come in groups of 2 or 3 when going agenst the higher level jedis. Stay away from the flame war now if for our sanity alone.

Antarian Ranger chapters are alive on several servers. If you do a search you can find a thread that lists contacts by server.

Do we really want to be part of the BH/Jedi flame war?

If I had to be a bodyguard for a class, it would be for a class that actually needs it and whom we have good relations with.
