Take cover bug has NOT been fixed. It can be avoided, however.
To be more conscise, the bug occures when you map /takecover to a SHIFT-FUNCTION key, and still haveSHIFT mapped as walk. I do not know if this is even a ranger issue, to be honest. I have never tested this before becoming ranger. You will go slow-as-molassis after comming out of cover until you relog.
The answer I have come up with is to never map it to a SHIFT-FUNCTION key. Or just type in the command.
What about Lok camo kit?
Can we make those now?

I will check on this tonight and let you guys know.

The colors that are used were selected by a color blind poster for ease of reading.
- What color would you suggest I use?
I don't know, you're the genius correspondent ![]()
I was actaully thinking some shade of green, but
well... somehing just got messed up with my post.....
should read "but I don't know how that would fit in for the colorblind poster."
"I don't know, you're the genius correspondent"
I am however not color blind myself...
- Hmmm...

Just as a contrary datapoint, I've never experienced this particular bug, and my Take Cover command is mapped to SHIFT-F1. And holding down SHIFT still puts me in walk mode.
"Insuring Traps?"
I'm confused... is someone requesting this? I think all this would really do is force rangers to pay for types of items that other professions don't have to insure. I.E. Medics don't have to insure medicines do they? If it happens I'll do it, but it seems like asking for it is a little silly. ![]()

My player city is 10k from Nym's Stronghold...and what a nice hike for a ranger it is...(side note...running that trip sometimes twice a day really makes me feel like a ranger when i outrun all the pirates and droidekas)
anyway, whenever i see an animal that i dont remember, i check and I have yet to see Lokian domesticated meat...however i have met another ranger who sold some i dont know if it is accurate, but i trust the source implicitly. So, I am on Lok all the time and still no domesticated meat for me...if there was, youd better believe that i would make tons of camo kits to protect all the people in my pa for that jog...
thanks again

I wouldn't insure traps, I use them too quickly I'd get though a crate of them before they got down to 5% durability
How would you make a Crate of traps- is this possible, or just a figure of speach? It sure would free up some space in my inventory
"How would you make a Crate of traps- is this possible"
Yes, it is possible to make a crate of traps using an Equipment Factory. ![]()
Has there been any word on Camps not repelling mobs? I set up a High Tech Field Base the other day and stepped away from my keyboard for 5 minutes, and when I came back, a Carrion Spat lair had spawned next to it and I had been killed by a Giant Spat.
If I can't set camp near a lair, the lair should not spawn near my camp!
And I want the laser fence around the HTFB to be more than just eye candy!
Thanks for all the good work!
"Has there been any word on Camps not repelling mobs?"
No word yet. ![]()

Aye. These items are in the State of the Profession. ![]()
