"Insuring Traps?"

I'm confused... is someone requesting this? I think all this would really do is force rangers to pay for types of items that other professions don't have to insure. I.E. Medics don't have to insure medicines do they? If it happens I'll do it, but it seems like asking for it is a little silly.

Not necessarily a change rather than an addition. The insuring of camps/bases should be added as an issue.

Let's hope they decide this is simple enough to fix to do it in a hotfix rather than next months publish.

Way ahead of you... That one is already on the newest list available via my signature.

Rather than using a strikethrough font, do you think you could try using a different color to denote things that have already been fixed? It would make it a bit easier to read.

The colors that are used were selected by a color blind poster for ease of reading.

  • What color would you suggest I use?

The following changes have been made to the list:

Issue where you accidentally harvest a non-existing resource (hide off a Hermit Spider) by using /harvest hide, and after that you are not allowed to harvest the correct resource.

  • This problemhas also been noted with attempting to harvest from too far away from the corpse.

The portion regarding harvesting from too far away has been fixed, though the other problem remains.

----

It was noted that Combat Medics can throw their Poisons up to 80m. Would it possible to implement such distances for our traps as well?

This request was removed because the CM range is actually an error and will be fixed in a future release.

----

Request for /conceal to not break during combat until damage is incurred

Request for /conceal to re-enable 60 seconds after combat completes automatically, without a need to reapply the kit

With the recent change to /conceal these two requests are now obsolete.

----

Has the /takecover bug been fixed? I do not play a Rifleman and therefore can not test it myself.

----

Please post regarding any other changes to items in the State of the Profession.

  • The most up-to-date version is, as always, available via my signature.

Good Hunting.

Which one? The "can't move faster than a slow walk after taking cover?" bug?

Anecdotally, I have not had a problem with this since the patch.

Of course, I also never had a problem with it before the patch, so I may not be the one to ask...

"can't move faster than a slow walk after taking cover?"

Yes, that is the only one I am concerning myself with...

Most importantly, as noted above it does not break during combat now. Only breaks if a creature senses you.

Makes all the difference in the world for a solo hunter like myself.
