If you can find 2 herds that are 500m apart or so, you can travel back and forth between them, milking them indefinitely.

Are they respawning when you do this? or is there just a timer on how long they are "dry" ?

I've be very surprised if that were true, given that vegash increases the harvesting skill mod, and that skill mod is not used for milking.

Right... veghash or the harvesting modifier has nothing to do with milking levels.

and:

why oh why... did we have to bring back the horrible nightsister milking incident?

It wasn't brought back. It never left.

They respawn when you do this. And since the stats on milk vary just like any other resource if you have to go to another planet...

1) Get in a group

2) Grab 2 mission for the milkable creature same direction same distance sort of

3) Go from one mission to the next milking, do not kill the critters

You can probably drop the group once you get your missions. You need more people in group in order to get the most amount of initial spawns at each mission. "bugged" picket lairs that have a huge amount of critters around are the best way to gather milk in general though as for reasons stated previously.

When I was fairly new to milking I was doing swamp humbaba's because of the stats on the milk and was getting about 12-15k per hour... I don't think that is alot though considering the amount the person wanted but I don't know how exactly to increase that rate beyond following my own advice... basicly milking is sloooooow compared to harvesting

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.
