Nice yeah now that the holidays are over, time to sort something out.
I would eventually like them to be held on TC because of the lowest population imo and that a few of us have started a guild up with the intention of providing the means to meet up regularaly and hunt. Its up to you guys realy, im happy for anything. Problem is though i have exams at uni starting monday up until friday so thats a no go for me im afraid.
On the TC thing, hopefully once the ranger guild there has progressed a bit more and got our guild fully operational things will be alot more set up for hosting the GRMs.
What do you guys think?

Any server is fine with me. If we did it on Lowca, i'd be like the Hunt Master, since i'd already be a Master Pikeman 4-1-4-1 Ranger. But if we held it on a different server i'd get to truly experience the Great Ranger Meet experience.

Actually I thik it was held on Wanderhome so his guild could help out and a certain Doc/Combat Medic could manically throw heals to try to keep us all alive. 
Though a certain *ahem* lizard might have died a few times for the cause. 
Later some other people offered to host the event using their own infrastructure and that was fun too.
Drat, I just deleted my Lowca character last month! Dah. Now I will have to use an assumed name.

Nah oreet i think its a good idea for Lowca this time, i was realy planning for the future. Thats one of the main reasons why we made this TC guild so we can hunt together regularaly, test new ranger things out, hang out together and havea solid base of opertation where the GRMs could be held.
Obviously the guild is new and we dont have the full set up for it yet but eventually when we do get everything ready it will be the perfect place to host it.
Lowca sounds good to me unless someone has any objections?

I still say favoritism, Paks... But yeah, it was great having Obata the CM/Doc there on the first couple of meets. The mass heals helped whenever pirate NPCs attacked. Whichever server we have it on, I'd recommend having a master Doc along in case of any deaths.
Lowca would be fine though. Does the Lowca Ranger Consortium still exist? Seems like I've seen a bunch of forum rangers from that server.

No, the consortium no longer exhists.
Shubacca was saying that due to the changes to Merchant, the Ranger running it was no longer able to upkeep a vendor.
I know a few Rangers on Lowca, Shubacca and Mahdi come to mind, Xandur too i think.
One thing that would make it especially fun on lowca, is if we meet at my city on lok. New Kabala is not on the map yet, and has no shuttle port. should make for an interesting 3km sprint from nym's stronghold to us.

oooo a ranger meet eh...sounds like fun...we should start alphabetically and go through the list holding a meet once a month.....this way all servers will have a chance...you can also scratch some servers off the list if they are too underpopulated...

I've only attended one GRM (the last one) and it was a blast despite the lack of a gorax sighting. For those of you who missed the awe-inspiring CDEF duel between Oreet and myself, well, you didn't miss much. The rest of the Meet rocked, though.
I'm all for another GRM. I've always wanted to dabble in pikeman but could never spare the skill points-- let's decide on a server soon so some of us can build up a few skills. (I'm with Cryos on this one; I'd like to have more than a fresh-off-the-transport noob to work with.)
Whatever is decided, I'm looking forward to it.

i'm pretty sure i lost that one.
bad news is that we do not have enough citizens to place a cloner, so if we do have the event on Lowca on Lok, the closest cloner to my city is Nym's Stronghold (about 3km away).

Oooo, just thought of a great GRM event. It's not really too "Rangery" but how about a squad of fresh off the transport noobs do a Corellian Corvette mission, unbuffed, unarmored?
hehe, that'd be a blast.
i'd suggest DWB or Geo, but we'd have to clone a long ways away, but on the vette you clone right there.
