Yeah,I still don't understand the way armor works now. I'm a wookiee rifleman/ranger, so what am I allowed to use? I think Ihave reconnaisance right now, are battle and assault off-limits or what?

JB, if your template is done, why do you need EXP?

Did the Gorax. Double yawn.

Just found out that even if you have the badge, to get the last two hunting trophies on the Trail you have to do the missions and rekill the freaking Katarn. So I did. Solo. I already had the badge, pre-change, so I went and killed 24 mysen-whatevers and then solo'd the Katarn. Two more trophies.

Now I need a small group to do Sordanna's bets to get into the Glade.

Wonder where Welsh boy is? Two Rangers and two droids should be enough.

Ok, what dastardly beastie can I solo next?
I haven't done the Peko Albatross, only because I hate going to Naboo. I have some wps for it tho, so it will be done soon. I mean, it can't be as bad as an Ancient Krayt, and I have done about 7 of those lately. I found that I can sell Krayt tissue for big bucks.
Kimos - yawn. Rancors - double yawn and unless they are level 81 or above, pass.
I literally dropped about 5 Krayts in a row yesterday before the dreaded work monster got me.I am so glad that artisan/dancer "knows" that Rangers are wimps and can't solo, leastways I don't get a ton of tells asking for help. I am tired of doing quests, I need some XP, so it's time to hunt gigantic game.
Anything good on Yavin, or at least challenging?Dath used to be fun. Endor is rather boring. I am getting all sunburnt hanging out on Tat. My sinuses are all dry and my skin is peeling.
Suggestions?

and the server is down and I am bored senseless again

There's an interesting MMORPG called "IRL", that's got some big creatures to kill, even some that most of the players don't believe even exist!

I didn't use buffs or uber armour, so why did the combat revamp have to spoil my game?

Guess the only thing for you to do is to start another toon on Flurry and teach me how to do all that.
It'll be a Master/Padawan type thing.

S'easy.

P darts, distance, a probot who is commanded to attack and follow (ranged attacks and he stays next to me. Or I tell him to stay and use him as a tank in the event the creature can break the p dart snare) and some foods so I can special a lot.

L darts are my new second favorite trap, as the dizzy increases the damage I do. Low level traps tend to stick, they are cheap and easy to make, as well as quicker to make.

I actually started factory producing most of my ranger needs. Saves me time sitting in the base experimenting on those camo kits, making the HTFB etc.

Best thing so far, drop the FB next to the factory, make the schematic right next to it. (I know a droid could do it, but it wouldn't be the same).

Albatross is 81 elite so not all that hard. But it's not like a Krayt Ancient is much harder if you use phenacine.

Haven't tried L darts, but I'm getting good use out of sonic pulse. I don't use it as an AoE, only on the one critter that I've pulled from the pack. It dizzies and stuns, and makes a cool noise when it hits. Bonus.

i also use sonic pulse, and occasionally flash bombs. glowwire traps work, but the benefit is nominal.
