Ok, what dastardly beastie can I solo next?

I haven't done the Peko Albatross, only because I hate going to Naboo. I have some wps for it tho, so it will be done soon. I mean, it can't be as bad as an Ancient Krayt, and I have done about 7 of those lately. I found that I can sell Krayt tissue for big bucks.

Kimos - yawn. Rancors - double yawn and unless they are level 81 or above, pass.

I literally dropped about 5 Krayts in a row yesterday before the dreaded work monster got me.I am so glad that artisan/dancer "knows" that Rangers are wimps and can't solo, leastways I don't get a ton of tells asking for help. I am tired of doing quests, I need some XP, so it's time to hunt gigantic game.

Anything good on Yavin, or at least challenging?Dath used to be fun. Endor is rather boring. I am getting all sunburnt hanging out on Tat. My sinuses are all dry and my skin is peeling.

Suggestions?

kiin dray at the bottom of the nightsister cult cave on Dath? You get a badge. Haven't managed to do this one myself - but I discovered that camo works relatively well in the cave. Some of the spiders are ranged though, and I think kiin dray might be too (but I could be wrong). So, this might actually be a challenge....

I'm a level 31 rifleman, and I am getting kicked by level 27 characters. Can you just not solo in this game anymore? If I do anything less than about level 20, I only get 1XP per kill (as opposed to about 200 for doing level 21 guys). Seriously weak. I assume, since everyone's looking for a level 81+ challenge, that not everyone is having this problem - what's the deal, yo?

The secret is to keep them from catching you. Use your phen. darts to your advantage. That is, figure out what the timing is and use the traps to keep creatures rooted and snared. When one trap wears off, throw another one and keep any knockdown specials you have in reserve in case the trap fails.

There might be an issue right now where the trap works too well - that is, sometimes critters get perma-stuck - and that might be fixed (or it might not), so get used to timing the traps so that you can land a new one when the old one wears off. Also use your other traps to put states on the critters that reduce the amount of damage they do to you (dizzy, intimidate, and stun) I think if they catch you.

Use spice (nuetron pixie) to increase your health, action, and regeneration rates. Get some dodge food, and get some food to increase your ranged accuracy and your melee defense. Also, consider getting some melee and ranged defense clothing - it caps at +25, but every bit helps.

Don't take on more than one creature at once -- use your traps to pull a critter from the herd and then take that one down out of range of its buddies.

Oh, and group if you can -

Head to the Shadowlands on Kashyyyk, and battle the Gotal Hunters, and work your way to the Katarn and solo him.

Yavin eh?

Not a whole lot that puts up much of a fight there, although maybe the Black Sun NPCs are tough, i dunno about them, but then again, Phen Darts won't work on them...

Acklay has a badge now. You'd do well getting down the cave that far though. If you can solo the Kwi 'blob' before the first door you deserve a /sodeepmyheadistouchingthefloorbow

And good food, and make sure you're wearing Battle armor or Recon armor to fit the enemy you are fighting, and make sure that he stays at range from you, and use a trap throwing droid if you don't want to take the time yourself to throw a trap.

I forgot about the Geo cave.

Also, check out the Blue Leaf temple. i've got no idea if they did anything to the Dark Klikniks there. They might put up a good fight now, but i doubt it. they are probably the same level as woolamanders now...

Definitely go for the Acklay. It just.........getting there that poses the problem.

I have found that on Scylla, the kwi in that cave prefer the taste of my Yavin camo kits as a top of the line condement. Apparently, it goes well with wookie meat???

I had to use the "incap at the door click on the box" trick to get my mount.

That was just a few days afterROTW though. Haven't been down there since. Maybe it's better?
