Bio- I meant it makes sense in the fact that BHs should rely on Rangers tracking in certain instances. You are the ones with the tracking Skills btw. We use droids.

I'm almost not concerned about the droid thing so much now that I know Rangers can do it. The only thing I have to worry about is finding a Ranger.

I gotta question for ya Bio...I know you are a Rebel. But, me being an Imperial alligned BH would you help me track an Imperial Jedi? Ohhhh the quandry!

Hm, that is a little tough, but I will do my best.

Because I hate Jedi for continuosly getting attention draw to them with their whiny all-caps leet speak tactics, in comparison to our calm and civil approach, I would definitely track the Jedi. Because they are Imperial Jedi, I would be helping my own faction. However, I would need to know the reason that an Imperial Bounty Hunter would be after an Imperial Jedi. If the Jedi betrayed the Empire with sensitive information, I would track for the Bounty Hunter but inform the Jedi that the BH is looking for him, thus giving him the time to prepare and removing the element of surprise. If the Bounty Hunter was Rebel but was covertly involved in an Imperial Guild, then the BH would only be able to do this once before the guild was alerted to his true involvement in their guild.

So, I would track, but allow the impostor to have an advantage over the true Imperial.

If they were both truly Imperial, I would alert the BH's Guild Leader, because of the politics on our server about this.

absolutely rediculous. You do understand what bounty hunter missions pay right? It's pretty embarrasing that rangers are that greedy.

100k a trick? Oh you're so cheap...

I so agree. The economy on Naritus is pretty low and I would charge 500k up front and 500k upon find - you do the math

ROFLMAO, uhm, go back and read my reply in context to the OP, then get your sense of humour back out of the cupboard and relax.

If we want to get all serious about this, yup, we know how much BH missions pay. But at the end of the day the bounty being paid to you is your business, the amount a ranger chooses to charge is their business. What you have to ask is "how badly do I want to find that jedi?"

If it's not worth the investment, no skin off our nose.

Hmmm. That is an interesting approach.

This is definately a hot topic among the ranks of BHs that are alligned. Me, not so much. I am Imperial and the bounties on these Imperial Jedi are issued by the Empire. The Empire states they consider these Jedi traitors and outlaws regardless in the contract.

My guild is a guild of Mercenaries and BHs. We have a list of No-kills so not to break our PA alliances, but above that anything is fair game. If a Jedi shows up on the terminals and isn't on my list, I'm collecting his bounty.

It's been said before, and i'll say it again, we Bounty Hunters truly are the scum of the galaxy. we're only in it to get paid.

although i will admit, there's nothing in-game like that rush you get right before your initial attack on your Mark. i get such a rush when i can first target the jedi i'm hunting, and i'm about to just lay into him.

and my record shows i'm good at it too. i've got a 70% success rate vs. Jedi in missions that resulted in combat.

So yes, we are credit-hungry scum, but we also enjoy the thrill of the hunt as well.

BTW, most Jedi Knight bounties these days are pursued by gank squads.

So.... 100k tracking cost and a foursome of BHs getting 220K each...

Less than 1/8 of the payout seems too low to me.....

Not a bad price though, for 2 hours of work.

I've been making 1 mill/hour on ahazi, harvesting wooley hides from ullers. I've probably made about 25-30 million off of it so far. My friends wonder why I never have time to come grind them up anymore...
