figured I was wrong.

anyway, I still take speed. I can buy Stim-B's that heal better, I can't buy stim-b's that heal faster.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

As others have rightly pointed out, the swords template is wrong. In the swordsman tree, the second bar is for speed. With 2 handed weapons, speed is everything. The correct approach is to max the second bar before getting anything else.

I concur - being a master swordsman and almost master ranger, the diference is noticeable once you've mastered swords.

If you ever get to the FS skills, then you might want the melee accuracy and speed skills, and then you could drop some of swords I guess .... but - Power Hammers are very very slow, so the more speed you have the better

then again - all bets are off with the combat revamp coming ......

Thank you all for your advice. Since there is total concurrance on the issue, I will be going Master Ranger (Which I just acheived last night, yay me!) and Master swordsman. I'm sure it will be a long grind, but it will be worth it. And I will work on the second tree first. My few remaining points will go to novice medic, and either First Aid or Diag 1.

Thanks again

It won't take you too long at all. Run up the Tech tree for two-hand speed, and if you are allowed in the Village of Aurillia, and we are lucky enough to experience the phase change today, you might want to seriously consider the Melee Speed line. As for running that up quickly, if it's pure experience you are after get your trusty 2-hand curved sword and run the 28k missions in solo groups for the voritor packs. Decent money and excellent xp, you'll cap out pretty quickly. For very good xp but better money, loot, you could run the Janta/Mokk missions. Either way, you usually can't swing a dead sludge panther without smacking into some manner of swordsman on Dantooine, so the training should be very easy to come by.

not to say that you should go rifleman, but...well, yeah. im a master ranger/rifle, and i love it.-Hidden Location-are/is great for the fs grind. with my rifle, i can let all the other people tank as i just kill everything from a safe distance away. I can max 2x+ in about 1.5hrs.

Template looks good. Lots of room for customization, no real drawbacks I can see, although you might want to think out a little more detail about how your lack of classes will work in combat.

Fellow TKM's

I currently have Master Brawler, Master TKM, Master Pikeman,

Swords 0-0-4-0, Novice Fencer

Gives me: Speed 125 Accuracy; 245

melee def: 305 ranged def. 235

So, is it better to just give up some stuff for at least 4-0-0-0 Doc?

Any help from anyone who has tried both, or critiques from fellow brawlers welcome.

Yes, I'm sure there are threads on the subject, I've looked but no luck with anything

addressing this template.

Thanks in advance

You might want to give up something for Doc 2000, the 1200 heals come in handy

trust me when tanking or taking any high end content or pvp, heals always beats no heals, the accuracy mods and other mods wont help as much as a 1400+ heal every 3 secs he he
