The reason I haven't "told you what I've got" is because the designer who sent me the message specifically asked me not to post it on the boards yet. I know you all want feedback. I'm not getting any satisfaction out of not telling you what I know. I would be much happier if I could tell you...it would generate more discussion, ideas, and other good stuff. I am NOT trying to 'string you along', I'm trying to keep everyone positive and constructive while we wait...because being snide and sarcastic doesn't do anyone any good. What are we waiting on? The "big patch". See my stickied post about what is going on.

I can't post the email or list its contents, as that would be betraying the trust the designer put in me that I would respect his wishes.

I will go back and ask him if there are any snippets I can give you.

Lets make this clear. I'm not placing blame on the correspondents but on the people not allowing the information to be released.

Why should you have to "fil in the gaps"? You should be allowed to post the information when it is given to you. The info should not be given to you until it is postable.

I can respect you not sharing the info under the devs request. I dont know you, and had begun to think that you were some kind of information control-freak as you did not post your dev emails while other profession correspondants did. I needed an explanation why. The fact that the ranger dev wants to keep this on the DL concerns me. This whole correspondant program seems to be somewhat of a farce, and has been implemented much differently than how it was originally presented to us.

You know, everyone is talking like this next big patch is the end-all-be-all of the major problems with this game, and that once it's in, EVERYTHING will be better. Not likely - I betcha it'll take at least 3 more patches to completely fix the uber-patch. Im not falling for any of SOE's BS anymore. They know this game is an absolute monstrosity they released prematurely, and everything coming from them at this point is strictly corporate damage-control. Bad reviews for this game are beginning to run rampant, and things are starting to back-fire.

Me? Well I beta tested for two months, so I'm used to working around problems in this game. Only difference now is that Im paying to beta test. Just a sucka, I guess. But for how long?

Too bad I didn't see "group" , "mask", & "scent" in there.

The reason I see the Dev requesting that Min not release any of the information that he was given was solely because any of that information is subject to change at any time. I'd rather hear exactly what is going to be implemented rather than get my hopes up based on some things that the Dev team was "thinking about implementing". Then there is the whole issue of when those updates willbe ready to be released, and if anyone remembers the launch date fiasco for the game itself, you'll know how quickly problems can arrise and push back release dates. That compounded with how rumors and misinformation spreads through these forums like wildfire, I think that the present course of actionshave beenfully justisfied.

LOL! Mineras... great post. I don't even think that you should be that obvious about it. Some of these people don't deserve to "see" if they can't "read."

Like I said in the other thread: Then what is the point in telling you anything specific, if it can't be shared with the rest of us?

Its really ridiculous. The Dev should just tell you he's working on it and then you tell us he's working on it. Then we'd all be in the same boat.

OR

The Dev should not release info to the correspondent unless the correspondent is allowed to release the info to us!
