Thread: Oddball results on traps last night

Sigh, nothing like someone that could be the perfect tank, but just dosen't get it. /tuant /intimidate, stim. Nothing like having to tell your tank "Lay off the specials your killing your self faster than the big lizzard."
Ya I tried really hard to get a trap to stick to the Gorax last night... ya didn't happen but I had to try.
But me and my TK got him. She just kept him off me and I just stacked the mind bleeds and spamed head shot 3. It would have been boring but, we weren't looking for him. She just wanted to get me juiced and canned, and run around Endor all crazy go nuts. Till we found the Gorax I was using my spraystick, lol. So our mind buffs gave out 2/3 of the way through, and my health went seconds affter he started running. That added a little flavor.

Kungfu boy was all about "how strong" he was and wanted to duel me. I was considering it, hell I was juiced and canned too, it was Corsairs. Then I saw the 1st Dune kimo. I engaged, as there was a doulbe squad plus of Imp STs there, and some of Nym's people. I stayed at range and dropped traps and bleeds, as well as other shots. TK boy was all about how much damage he was doing, not realizing it was my traps dropping the resists, slowing the Kimo, and blinding it. Ok, kimo drops, 3k+ xp, plus 2k scout xp for the harvest.
In the meantime, I am dropping Corsairs. TK goes out near the Gurk hootch, where I knew a GDK was sitting, having seen it on the way in. He starts to beat on it... not smart. His backup was 3 dark troopers and a droideka. He called me, I sorta could guess from the distance/direction what he had done, but went anyhow. Yup, I get there in time to watch him get ate, as I was typing to tell him to run thru the Gurks.
Ok, there is a decidely large mean and not happy GDK to my rear. I go back to the Corsairs and now there are 3 Dune Kimos floating around. I am thinking in the melee previously the lair got hit by the STs doing their spray shots with rifles. That is when I pm'd you to tell you how much I love Lok. I was down to about 40 mins on my buffs, had maxed pistol (again) so I went to the village.
For a change the Sith left me alone. Wise move on their part.

I've not tried to be honest. Maybe it's just that they are so damn fast in the first place that even when slowed they can still keep up with us?

I tossed maybe 25 traps at a Peko Alb and nothing stuck. I also laffed at the Tk wondering why he did no damage.
Peko Albs, GDKs, Gorax, the big Krayts - forget traps.
