I'd like to continue... What is the macro for droid harvesting.. I mean any one tried to use some special macro which is keeps droid harvesting while ranger in fight.. this macro should loop to itself, and the droid (or you) auto select frags to harvest them... I am very sorry for my English (

ok, here's what they mean:

when you program your droid, you'll see "set harvest" on the radial. has two options: program target harvest, and set harvest interest.

set harvest interst (for those that do not know) lets you set what the droid harvests, meat, hide, bone, or random. (WARNING: you target it to bone, and the creature has no bones, you will RUIN the corpse. e.g., you get NO bone, and you can't harvest anything else). but I digress.

Program target harvest is what you want. by selecting this, you teach it a codeword, like attack, follow, or whatever. I have taught my droids to go on the word "Carve".

so I created a macro with the following text: /tellpet carve

you can obviously change the word "Carve" to whatever you want to use.

then put that on one of my hotkeys... when I see a monster go down, I hit the hotkey, and a second later, the droid moves to harvest the beastie. when I see it moving, I start killing the next one. if you target a new monster before the droid moves, you'll see "cannot access that target". target the corpse, hotkey the droid again, and WAIT until it starts moving towards the corpse. by then, it has figured out what to do, and you're good to go.

one last piece of advice. do NOT group the droid. if it's like mine, and a 117% droid, it has NO combat skills. if it's grouped, it can be attacked... then you're screaming at the bloody thing to stop running away, and you're distracted. if it's not grouped, it won't get attacked, and will stick by your side, usually.

I think that's pretty much it.

Thank you.. as I mentioned have bad english.. I used to do the same with my droid, but I'd like that the droid will choose all corpes and will harvest the meat/bones/hides without hitting a hotkey.

If you use the droid a lot hot keying "/target corpse" is a must. It gets crazy out there, and things get lost. Puting that in a loop is about the same as throwing your self head first in to the Sarlacc pit. Your target will be all jumping here and jumping there and generaly not on what you would like it to be if you are still fighting. That and it takes a bit for the harvested corpse to go away, so you'd be trying to get your droid to harvest the same corpse over and over till it went away. You'd lose more time than you would save.

Just say no to recurscive macros. I use all kinds of little baby macros, and I've yet to see a recursive one that is usefull to the "at their keyboard" player
