Hmm im not a lover of givin professions something they havnt trained in. As i see it someone who has master rifleman/master ranger would be able to use melee too?
Perhaps if it was in the form of a ranger weapon of ranger move then id think it was more apropriate but powerups and such just dont float well with me. I lovepartof the idea paks just mentioned.
Id change that to Tazer Device though. The thing is strapped to your wriston your off handand can be used on creatures in melee range to lower their resistances, could also come in the form of a trap instead. hmm thanks paks

On second thought I guess if you gave this to commando's, as they have unarmed and armed prerequisites, then its actually quite a good idea

ahh cool thanks.
But i was think more along the lines of accuracy/speed in various professions.
I mean if i had unarmed 1 and master ranger and master rifleman, would that enable me to use the powerup for melee combat? and what mods would it use? I say this because if you go low level melee to get acess to it, if it uses the melee mods then its going to be worthless mainly because of the speed and accuracy stats.

I believe you mean here (the 6th post or so). That crossbow was an extension to the trap launcher, not a specific weapon.
