Funny you should say that. When i founded our town on dant back in november on player city day 1. It was because i thought it would stay uninhabited

The worse in terms of place i hate would be Corellia, hands down, no competetion
The worse in terms of resource gathering would have to be Corellia again, i cant stand that place

Did you try the central mountians? Really hard to build a city on a mountain

Worst planet?
Am just in one of those ****y moods today sooooo....
Tatooine? Love that dust ball, toon #1 was born there and I've always thought of Espa as my home patch. Having said that, the hunting is cruddy as heck. Low grade, low quantity, low level. Gaaah beginner planets! noob poodoo!
Corellia? Full of arrogant "no you can't join our uberbuffed commando/bh sharnaff hunting group" who then come and jump the ONE wild spawn you found.
Naboo? Wall to wall housing. It's the trailer trash capital of SWG. (btw, some of my best friends are trailer trash, so, chill ) Can't get a clear shot at the faamba as they manage to hide their immense bulk behind... a lamppost? What the heck is a lamp post doing in the middle of nowhere? gaaah townies
Rori? Never liked it. Day #2 in game I created a toon up there. he never got out of town from being eaten by spiders. Toon #1 went up ther eto live for a while, but I got depressed with the constant rain, darkness and the sheer lack of any living thing for miles and miles.
Dantooine? like, kewl dewd, ur an uber1337 ranger, eh m8? looking for a solo group looking for a solo group anyone buffing?

Dathomir? Y'know, I actually like Dath!! Hate hunting there, but if you get out onthe plains, and the sun is up, it's nice. Wouldn't fancy staying there, and, well, recently there's been a bit of industrial development, something to do with some dumbassed village where they knit hawtpants from Nightsister bellyfluff...
Nice rule for Dath, if it moves, it'll kill ya. RUN!!!
OK, having got all that off my chest I actually feel a lot more +ve towards the game, lol. This from the point of considering parking my ranger in a house, selling off his bits and bobs and going into hiding on another server and working up to chef or artisan resource muncher...

Good Topic.
I break it down to Planets that don't suck for hunting on Bria.
1.) Dathomir. Always a challange and good ammount of resources.
2.) Yavin. Lots of spawns, and great fun to hunt.
3.) Endor, by far my favorite planet to hunt.
4.) Dantooine. The southend of the planet is good for hunting, right near where I live.
5.) Lok, pretty good Best spots are near the south of the map. The only really good resources that you can get in quanitiy are off of gurks though, and I'll be damned the kimogillia dosen't have bones..it should be a rolling blob.
All other planets are a waste of time for hunting. I stock pile a bit of resources for my wife who is a chef, and my alt who is a doc. The only time I will hunt other planets is for avian meat, and then I only get enough to make my crates of buffs for friends and guildies.
Now that I think about it, with the exception of Lok and Dantooine all other planets where you can build houses kinda suck. I can't even recall the last Time I have been to Talus or Rori.
Just my 2Cents anyhow.

Dathomir was fun... a year ago. Pitch friggin black, big nasties lurking in the dark, not a soul in sight. It was paradise I tell you, absolutely marvelous. Then folks discovered Giant Baz Nitches, it sucked for about 3 weeks until the Devs made them a little more challenging. Then everyone moved to Dantooine for the Mokk Missions and Dath was back to its pleasant status.
Now I hate the damn place. Laggy, spawns are crap, full of people I'd rather not be around. Wish they'd move "The Village" and all related crap off the planet-stick it on Lok always hated that mudball.

Hmmmm,
Well i used to love Dathomir, flying into the empty southern starport (leaving all those rancor slaughtering groups up north) then heading into the southern regions, granted they are a lil less populated with critters, but its an all round nicer area. Less sudden drops that really mess up my sense of direction and lead me slap bang back into the growling snarling nast thing that was chasing me.
Then theres Endor, a nice trip through the vibrant forests, camo working a treat so i can enjoy the solitude, then a swift climb up onto the northern plateau. Looking around for miles in every direction, back north to see the heady tops of the forests, or north to the greater heights ahead. Anyone asking me to hunt on Endor generally has to wait a bit longer as i spend more time sight seeing than anything!
I suppose that question really brings out what kind of player you are. Worst planet for hunting? What does that mean to you? The planet with the resources that'll get you less creds, or the planet that is so taken over by the dregs of the galaxy, placing abodes et al willy nilly. I'd rather take less money, and hunt somewhere more out of the way and 'wild'.

If you went away from the mining outpost. You'll find the rest of the planets not like that. Never understood the draw of that outpost. Im 10k from it closer to the imp outpost which is much nicer

This is true. I just hate what's become of Dant and why it was allowed to overpopulate I don't know. Hell on Corbantis even Naboo and Corellia aren't as laggy as Dant. When landmarks are surrounded and engulfed in some cases by someone's township, somethings wrong.
/burn stupidly placed towns to the ground.

Oh i agree completly. I see a lot of "Oh theres a POI lets put up a town". I'll admit my towns about as close to the imperial starport as i could make it. 1300m as a matter of fact. But the day player cities were launched i was in a rush to just place before i hit the cap.

Well, at least the Imperial Starport doesn't reside in the middle of your city. Not as much can be said for the Dantari Tribesman. They're goin urban whether they like it or not!
