Yep, I can definitely see the point. I think the idea about being able to see what's on the terminals would fit with the new world order where Antarians and Jedi alike must live more covert and away from the eyes of the Empire. We are now an underground movement after all...

Well, we are a PA but one of the things we have done to add to the covert feel is place our guild hall in a secret location

I think what I may do is leave us as an unofficial PA and move our meetings from place to place. If we hold them in random guild halls of our different members, that might bring a cool "covertness" to it all.

Greetings,
One of the things that I would like ot do with the blessing the AR leadership is have like a small guild of AR within my new guild on Starsider. Basically, we just started this new guild a couple of months ago called the Jensaari Alliance. We dropped our city hall day before yesterday, had to wait awhile as it is located on Naboo and the city slots were full. But anyway, the name of our city is Antaria. For the year and a half that I have been playing, I have tried to generate interest on Starsider to get a full blown AR guild started, but to no avail. So, the idea I have come up with now, which seems to be receptive in my small guild is to make our military arm the Antarian Rangers for Starsider. Everyone has been real receptive to the thought, and though we may be small, we will be playing it to the hilt. We do enjoy alot of RPing and hope to be able to play the Ranger part up as well. Thanks.

While it is true the rangers looked up to the jedi order it is also true that they were used to do things that jedi could not because of their order. THis is the reason that many jedi did not reallylike the rangers. I am not saying that they hunting people but they were definetely more soldierly than jedi were. As far as my idea for Antarian Hunters. Well this new group would have formed within the old one in our time frame. Sometimes the best defense is a good offense kinda thing. You all dont have to use it thats cool, but it is good to hear different ideas.

Ok, what exactly is it that the Jedi bring to this game? In trying to define our roles as AR's on my server, I'm more and more dumbfounded by the roles of our own Jedi. They offer nothing. Artisans, architects, tailors, doctors, scouts, Rangers, creature handlers, etc, all provide a service or a commodity to their servers and help establish a stable economy and balance of play. The Jedi, offer none of these things.
For once, I'd like to see a Jedi lead. I'd like to see them take a more active roll in the GCW. In wanting this, I'm hoping that something my AR's can do is to help develop our Jedi into those leaders. In Ep II & III, Jedi were generals leading troops into war. They're not shaolin monks who prefer the more peaceful route to victory. Granted, our Jedi are some aggressive individuals, however, they key word there is "individual".
Just a rant and some observations.

I like to think it is our job as AR's to make them better leaders. I myself am 3 boxes from unlocking jedi, and take an active role in leading my cities defenses. I cant wait to be a jedi knight and lead troops into battle, that is what all Jedi should do. I agree with you 100%.
