I would like to see all of the things that the above posters mentioned...with one little addition...put the vendor on the tempest server. Then it would have everything I needed and I would be able to buy from it...lol. Good luck in setting it up. I can't wait to read the vendor 101 post it sounds very interesting!
Hey Sweetie.... I have a vendor set up for Scouts and Rangers in Naboo
(I'll contact you in game to duiscuss this further)
I've also raised a "Ranger's Hut" 1200 meters west of Mos Entha with "Emergency wares" just for us Rangers.... I'll add you to the Admin list and ship you the WP (The only requirement is that if you use an item you shouldn't forget to replenish the stash at your earliest convenience).

Ok i'm thinking of setting up a ranger/scout shop, and these are the things I'd like to offer up:
1. traps
2. camps
3. camo kits
4. veghash
5. mask/camo clothing (some with inj/wound mod as well)
6. hunting pets (lotsa cats)
7. PUPs (both ranged and melee)
8. swoops (singles and crated)
9. bait and tackle.
What am I missing? Would you shop there?
I sell 7 of those 9, and they *do* sell. Slowly, because I don't advertise much, but surely. (I don't carry swoops, and PUPs are on another vendor.)
Another suggestion is Ranger Fashion. I had a pocket tailor (whom I miss for many reasons) who had the great idea of doing ensembles of clothing--things like dusters, camo pants, t-shirts, boots, glovesand the like in Dantooine Camo (purple and green or brown), Tatooine (sand-colored or orange), Dathomir Camo (browns and dark greens, some black), and so on. Full outfits that would make one *look* very Rangerly.
I also sell Ranger Holidays and Scout Holidays, large, mediumand small. They're backpacks thatcontain singles, 5-crates, 10-crates or full crates of veghash, jawa beer, tents, one or two kinds of traps, maybe an item of clothing, and camo kits for the appropriate planet. They don't sell much, but I love having them. The only downside is I have to redo the description every time it cycles off my vendor, grar! (Hey, people need to know which tents it has!)
Other suggestions: CA's and AA's and those backpacks (spec-ops?) that have some Ranger-friendly mods on them.

I'm actually part way through typing up a post called "Ranger/Scout Vendors 101"
It's taking me a while to get it all together because I'm super busy and the post is turning out to be faily comprehensive. So keep an eye out for that and hopefully you'll be in business by then so you can provide great feedback as well!
Good luck with the shop.

I'd buy camps, traps, camo kits, veghash, ranger AAs & CAs, armor mini-suits combining armor ( chitin, mabari, bone etc. ) with bio-clothes and probably anything else you'd be selling while I was there anyway
At risk of sounding like a n00b, I hear all this talk about mini-suits. All i can think of is that it's armor that is a bit too tight where it counts.
Plain good ham mounts too
1k stacks of metal/polymer... I'll think of some more stuff.
Oh stims! lol
I will happily drive to a vendor if I know it will be stocked. What annoys me is when I find a vendor from the planetary map and when I get there its empty.

ROFL, I feel your pain..... Having a merchant alt, I know how much work it is to keep up with the demand. I log on everyday to check what has been purchased, and then start my factories to replenish my vendors.
The tricky part is if you are dependent on another crafter to supply you with items.... if they "slack" behind my vendors will not carry all the items I have comitted to carry.... It's not always easy to balance that.
But yes, the worst thing is finding an empty vendor (Especially if you have to travel far to get to it).
