Ha ha ha ...I got my first, second, third, and fourth ancient Krayt kills today.....I am charged.....but the funny part was after I got the first kill, I was by the shuttleport and this guy says "hey, we are going to hunt Krayts. Want to join?" ... I said, no thanks, I am hunting ancients solo today.

He then started begging me to join his group. But because I was hunting for loot for my guild I said no thank you. About five minutes later, I got a tell from someone saying that soloing a Krayt (let alone an ancient) was impossible. I politely informed him (or her) that I had done it already. They called me a liar and started telling me what level ranger they were, and that I was lying. I said come and I will show you.... They said I was lying. At this point I was getting upset and told them that they were wrong and that they needed to shove off. But they insisted and I said that they needed to put their money where their mouth was. They started getting all snippy and I asked if he had a pearl. He said yes, and I said put that up. Long Story short, his jaw dropped, his guild asked if they could hire me, and I got a pearl just for doing what I was gonna do anyway.....lol.

I hate arrogant people. Especially when they have been ranger for 375 days, tell me that it is impossible to solo krayts and I tell him, that I have been ranger for 2 days and that he needs to hand over that pearl.....ROFL

lol i agree with you, even if they fix the prema root, with carful timeing and a little skill we will still be able to solo masive creatures pretty well.

Tonight I started out to hunt Krayts.

So as I enter the graveyard I see a group of 5 people 3 of which were Jedi.

I manuever around them to line up on the Ancient Krayt there are 2 grands and 2 more juvies all laying ther and this group twiddling their thumbs looking at them.

I get on the far side mask scent and close on the Ancient. L dart to draw it away. Feed it two pop tarts to snare it.

Lay down and start to shoot it with my LD-1 at first to judge its affectiveness. Switch to Nullifier X to gage it. Switch out once more to compare it to my Trsuty old T-21.

Decide to finish the ancient with my T-21. Then the damn Jedi decides to kill Steal the Krayt from me.

So no more Mr Nice Ranger I alternate between shots, I keep L darts active on the Ancient Krayt, I hav eto keep chucking Pop tarts because everytime the Jedi knocks down Mr Krayt my snare affect is breaking when it stands up.

I hit the pixie to keep the action going and Kill the Krayt.

So I run up and harvest\ Loot.

I wanted tissues but I got a damn Pearl instead. Normally Inwould ahve been happy to give it away. But this time I have a jedi that tried to rip me off.

I say thanks for helping me get a Pearl and Mr. Stupid replies he should have let the Krayt kill me.

I let him know I was okay until he interferred and never got hit until he stuck his little glowstick into it.

Then it turns into no way should a ranger be able to solo big game only Jedi should be able to do that.

Well Iquickly developed aserious case of pisstivity, and decided with these 3 knuckleheads here my hunting was not going to be profitable tonight.

Why do Jedi seem to believe they are the Apex hunter.

God forbid a Ranger should ever out hunt one, or not need one to hunt.

ah yes!! i still remember my first run in with a krayt......one hit kill. I loved those days. Has anyone else seen random massive spawns of krayts outside of the yard since the CU? its happened once or twice i've seen on Kauri.
