Obviously you have not hunted with me before

Since we're on different servers, that would be a given.

There is a point where a group is more efficient then solo.

I'm sure that there is, but I'm equally sure it's nearly a platonic ideal.

Knowing the difference is somewhat an art form but it's about at class level 15 where the hide/meat/bone is plentiful enough (50 per or so). I got a 120k bone stack in three days with a group on Dathimir.

That's 2400 kills at 50-per for you to have a 120K stack of resources...unless, perhaps, you mean that is what the group harvested. In which case it's not all that impressive, depending on how big the group was.

We never are actually, that would be... boring but let me tell you, NEVER could do that solo.

Depends on how big the group was, and how much actual playing time was involved.

Organization is the key.

I have very little faith in the ability of commercial mud players to demonstrate organization.

Also keep in mind that missions are half the yield as Natural lairs.

Much less actually, depending on the creature type. Unfortunately, currently on Corbantis random spawns are absolutely horrid. I travelled 15,000 meters over the surface of Dantooine yesterday and saw one whole random lair, and it was humanoids. (No, I was not on a bike. I was riding a Kaadu.)

btw, I see in your sig that you are a Rifleman. Use BoH? Ryshcate? ...need meat for those.

Neither. Don't need 'em. I did grab a crate of Vercupti recently and while it's nice, I can certainly live without it. Yes, I know it needs insect meat. I compiled a nice big list of what creature resources are used for what a loooong time ago. (Ryshcate does not show meat as a requirement...it shows flora food.)

I have a crate of Neutron Pixie too, but I've only used that doing Cries of Alderaan missions.

I've solo'ed them too but the merchant gets much more with a group and everyone gets about the same money individually as I would selling a smaller stack solo.

Good for you, but I don't know people who would jump at that deal.

Get bored of Pikets? Take another contract that takes you to Lok or Yavin.

I jump planets all the time, always checking creature resources for shifts. Currently on Endor. I was hoping to find some Prowling Gurrecks to tame, but I got distracted when I found OQ 800+ Avian Bones and OQ 915 Leathery Hides (for Camo kits, of course.) I am currently the #10 resource contributor for Corbantis on swgcraft.com, which is pretty impressive when you remember that I can't survey non-creature resources.

Bottom line: hunt with me long enough and you will never have to worry about money or experience again.

I don't earn experience any more, and the only reason I've had to even think about money lately is because my gaming partner of nigh-unto six years started playing on Corbantis again, and she's high maintainence. :-)
