Well, I managed to get to Endor with the same Novice Scout (weekends make it a lot easier to get together with people) and the results haven't changed. As for the divisor in the proposed method, I think it needs to be closer to 13 than 15 in order to keep Novice Scout harvesting at the same level it currently is. This doesn't change the relative amount harvested, though. But we can always leave the specifics to the Devs.

I made a character on corbantis about 2 and a half weeks ago because some of my friends play there. I'm now a master heavy swordsman/master doctor and loving it.
Thats how much I've been playing my "main" ranger character lately.
I miss the people on starsider and the AR I'm trying to form.. but there just aren't many of us. I'll probably master most of the professions that seem "interesting" to me with my corbantis character and if ranger hasn't gotten some love / WoW is out by then I'll probably be done with this game.
JB and many others have said it before, its probably 4 lines of code they'd have to edit to increase harvests. Its just not worth spending countless hours scouring planets for resources only to be called a "price-gouger" while there are TK/Swordsman/novice scouts that can harvest far more then I can.
I can almost guarentee you that there are more jedi on every server then there are rangers.
