Just another idea, I use alias's

type in spatial:

/alias mm /lootall; /harvest meat

now when you type "/mm" in spatial you loot and harvest. This can be helpfull for the toolbar space challanged. Or for use with a droid while IN combat:

/alias dmm /lootall; /tellpet harvestmeat

So when working crowds with a droid when one drops I just target the corpse and type "/dmm" into spacial for loot and harvest.

you could even use something like this to help with the annoying droid running away:

/alias dmm /lootall; /tellpet harvestmeat; /pause 45; /tellpet droidfollow

this would tell the droid to harvestmeat then wait 45 second and tell it to come back to you so as a melee you could simply taunt any critter that agro'd the droid, I find this reall helpfull in harvesting and creating mass lair grave sites while getting all the organics I am after
