Try the GIANT DUNE KIMO hunt....the TKA's really take damage and then you pop up a camp let everyone heal in between GDK kills!! The more healing and people in your camp help!!

You gotta find a shallow beach area and stand right at the edge of the water and drop a camp, move back a smidge if it says you can't set up camp in water. If you do it right, the camp will be submerged in an inch or so of water. Then you can fish without leaving the camp.
I have not been able to do this, the camp "Builds up" the bank, and by the time i get my footsie in the water, I have left the camp.
I have noticed this over hilly areas that the camp builds up the terrain to create a flat surface.

The best way is to find a very steep bank. Shallow banks to the river or beach always rise up, at least in my experience. However, the game tends to go for the path of least resistnace, so if it would have to raise the ground up5 meters or lower the riverbed 4 meters, it will go for moving the land down. So steep slopes with you at the bottom will usually move the land mass down. It's hard sometimes, especially with small camps, but if you move SLOWLY out of the water, it'll work a certain percentage of the time.

Only way it works for me is to set it up such that the camp is underwater. Yes, this can be done (and is rather humours and the envy of Jedi everywhere with our powers to light and maintain campfires underwater

yeah, there definately is a trick to it, lots of trial and error until you get it down. I can submerge a camp nearly everytime I try.

When I went up the camping tree, I figured I would camp while I sleep (since I do that in real life too, it doesn't seem as taboo as, say afk dancing). Fill your toolbar with camps, then setup a macro that cycles through them once every 5 minutes or so. You will waste some time because your camp will max out long before it automatically disbands. But hey, you're sleeping, so what do you care. It's free xp! The key to success when doing this is to split up your /pause time with camping songs. Row, row, row your boat works, but does get annoying to others (a perfect excuse to use it), but I also used contemporary songs as well such as Piano Man and Fly me to the Moon. The macro works better if you keep your songs to 4 lines or less. Shout your lyrics so that everyone knows you are camping there and is jealous. Camp as close to your home town as possible. Roast marshmellows, hot dogs, or whatever. In fact, you may find that doctors, BE, or others notice you there and start to offer you contracts (not likely, but possible).
Personally, I found a few people that loved the singing, and even more that I willingly annoyed. At the very least, it is a lot of fun talking with guildmates about it afterward because everyone knows that you are doing it. It's not extrememly fast, but it is using that time that you wouldn't use anyway. I never did this when I wanted to play, but give it a few days and you'll get up the line without any craft-grinding at all.

The best way I've found for camp xp is to get a little group together. Pop camp in the newbie areas near a crowded city. You'll end up with a few people to sit and chat with while you're waiting. You may make new friends and it's a lot more fun this way. Just remember to gauge how long the camp has been up so you know when to throw a new one. If you get people healing/dancing/crafting in your camp you'll get xp quickly. As a scout I had 20 visitors to 1 camp once and it was really cool that all these deifferent people would drop by just to talk and rest for a bit.

What Bart said.
No really it works. It also helps if you get a large camp that some people that just started, have never seen. Then just sit back and talk make camps, study. You'll get it done in no time at all.

I've resorted to AFK camping in order to get my last box of Frontiering. I usually get 9K XP every night from 8 camps. I set up a macro that lets the camp automatically disband after an hour and sets up a new camp. I have another marco that I run so I don't get knocked off for being AFK.
Right now I'm 42K Frontiering XP away from completing the fourth box. Should be 3 more days and I'll have it. I'm actually having more trouble getting trapping XP. there, I've resorted to /Conceal near a rancor or other large red beast, throwing 4 or 5 traps at it, seeing what sticks, then jumping on my speeder before the creature has a chance to hit me. I get 472 XP per trap hit on a rancor. Other creatures that I can actually kill, I usually get around 300 XP.
