Thread: An Idea to get Noticed (Maybe)
Well ...sadly, it seems this idea will fall by the wayside. However, thanks for all the input. Several of you are probably right, there are not even enough of us left per server to even be noticed all in one place.
Calc ...I relent to your call for a quiet solution for awhile longer.
However, like was also said above by more than one... the DEVs seemed to respond very quickly to an issue that had been around a long time when the players stood together in protest. I'm glad the Wookiees got their armor, I'm glad DEs are getting new stuff, I'm glad Jedi are getting a revamp. Great. Good. Wonderful. Now ....how about fitting the Rangers in within the next 2 patches. Something. Anything. A new trap, a harvesting fix ....SOMETHING!?!
Whew ...gotta go count to 10...
Thanks for checking the idea out folks.

If I recall correctly, some people got banned for the wookiee incident. Also, the devs stated that it was the well presented cases and not the protest that that swayed (I'd like to believe that was the case).
Well presented cases alway seem to line the devs wastebaskets. What gets action is a furor. Can you name me one time when a well presented, mature, thoughtful proposal originated from a forum member, went to the correspondent, and wound up as a feature in the game in a short amount of time without the furor? I cant. I can however list dozens of times when a group of less mature, very very upset people raised a furor and made all kinds of threats and got what they wanted in very short order. The wookie armor, the (partial) repeal of house object limits, the repeal of crafting changes, object decay, all sorts of combat nerfs, changes to merchant vendor timeouts, and I could go on and on.
