This is a new feature in the HUGE patch coming out in the next day or two. Currently, the only healing bonus is that doctors/medics will get bonuses to the amount of healing they do to people. After the patch, you personal healing rate will increase. Also, the bigger the camp the bigger the bonus.

You're right. 10 wounds in each category every 5 minutes.

I think I mis-interpreted what they said. Here's the sentence:

Camps now auto-heal faster as their level increases (i.e. a high tech base heals faster than a two person kit).

So that's wounds and not damage right? I trying to figure out how to spend my remaining points when I become a BH. Thx

Not sure if damage regenerates at a quicker pace in camps than you would outside of a camp. Anyone?

One more thing I forgot to ask. Any tricks on how to raise your survival skill?

It might already work similar to this, as I have not achieved Frontiering 4 yet, but I think the highest level camp should be a semi-permanent fixture.

A Ranger of this level should be able to setup a camp in the wilderness and have it stay there for a much much longer period of time. Lets say he just has to come back to it like every 24 hours. Maybe this could be limited for like 3 days or so. The idea is that I can go out to BFE(Bum-F***-Endor) and set up a camp for a long hunt, where people can come for a break, protection, healing and supplies. This thing should have a mission terminal too.

That seems fair to me.

I like it. It would make us a little more important in the community. Maybe even a vendor.

Something vaguely similar is being proposed to the Devs. Called a "Hunting Lodge" going to take up a lot.

Should be pretty cool.

Ok, slight confusion here...

The Hunting Lodge is our idea (the Ranger forum), and there is no guarantee that it will ever be implemented.
