Thread: Ranger Camps
I am an aspiring Ranger and have been watering at the mouth to see one of the HighTech camps. Anyone got any screenshots, or links to a screenshot, for one of these.
What can you put in these camps. i.e. crafting stations (all or only certain ones) etc. I've seen people mention them as portable towns to a point. This true? Please elaborate.
The regular field base also comes with a Food/Chem crafting station. It is very cool looking but doesnt seem to do much otherwise. It is very nice when your medics run out of meds and need to craft more. Also the roof does not block the rain, it comes right through.

Do you have to be an artisan to create the field base?
I don't have room in my template and was wondering.
I just made master scout, I was wondering if the novice ranger improved camp looks any different from a master scouts camp.
If graphically the same, then is there a benefit to taking novice ranger?
The Novice Ranger camp looks signifcantly different from the Master Scout camp... You now switch to military tents with crates and healing containers strewn about and I believe it has chairs for at least 6.. not to mention I think it bumps medical modifier up to .85 from .65

The high tech field base comes with a general items and medical/food crafting station. There is a hologameboard (unusable =P ) and a nice forcefield surrounding the camp.

On this note: Aggressive creatures are still managing to aggro on people in the High Tech Field Base. Dewbacks managed to walk into mine the other day and attack people. We were in an area that doesnt get much spawns,so it's hard to tell if it was working against everything else.It would be nice to know if it's a random function, all or nothing, or if it 's working at all.
Are medics able to craft resusication kits and higher level stims at them?
