So how does it flow? Does it jump around too much within each topic or is it still readable? Also, how many traps can Scouts make (I can't get online for a couple hours still or else I would check this out myself). Thanks guys .

Chunkers are "human rasps" and Swoopers are "human kreetles."

Must kill Chunkers!

- You start generating a lair. There's a Ranger 1000 m SE. You cannot place a lair that close to Ranger.

Seems very straightforward and readable.

As for the common BH roots, we can argue that BHs can pick up Ranger Trapping if they want those skills (as has been publically stated by a BH in our forum). And we can state that we would not mind the Scout level of traps having that ability as well. Although I'm perfectly happy to leave it out as well. Too much info can be a bad thing.

As for Scout traps, here is what I can remember:

  1. Wire Mesh Trap (Melee Defense Down)

  2. Lecepapine Dart (or something like that spelling, Dizzy)

  3. Glow Juice Trap (Ranged Defense Down)

  4. Phenacine Dart (Snare)

  5. Adhesive Mesh (Root)

  6. Glow Wire Trap (Combat Defense Down)

  7. Noise Maker (Stun)

  8. Stink Bomb (State Defense Down)

  9. Sharp Bone Spur (Blind)

I can't guarantee that those are right or even complete but that's what I can remember of them. As for Ranger traps:

  1. Flash Bomb (AoE Blind)

  2. Sonic Pulse (AoE Dizzy/Stun)

Hope that helps.

Nemo, I put in the part about trapping NPC and had a sentence about PvP uses. I just don't want to involve BH in any argument we make.

Do we want to make any mention of the Terrain Negotiation? That's about the only other thing I see that we might still want to put in.

Looking good.

I think the overall feeling we want to get is when someone goes on a hunt, the first thing that should pop into their mind is "I wonder if there are any master rangers around to help me".

How can we regain this need? Before vehicles, our terrian negotiation was great and camps via field bases allowed a group to stay way out there in the wilderness for a long period of time. Pretty soon, cities with cloning centers were allowed to crop up next to the craziest hunting grounds (can you say Mos Krayte?). So who needs camping, who needs terrain negiation, and traps don't work on big creatures anyway. Rescue shouldn't kill me.

I'm not really sure how to fix Ranger. I will be glad for some fixes and small benefits but will we ever get to the point that we are the first person someone thinks of when they want to go out for a hunt?

All five look great. I like to add two things:

1. Masksent - Show a timer (like you see with buffs) on the masksent icon.

2. Ranger camps - Have mission terms in them.

Great job!

Oo!

I like....

....Don't imagine we'll hear anything on this, But is a Great Top5.

On a side note, They are having you format it in Excel?!?! Why the hell wouldthey format an Issues list in Excel?.....Only reason i can think of would be to Compile all the lists togethere and prep for an Easy reorginization....But you could just as easily do that in word...right?

*raises a dead horse to beat*

Ok sorry for draggin this one out, but alas it's late i'm somewhat cranky and too lazy/tired to see if anything else was posted pertaining. Oh and no excel for me. So here goes. /rant on

Did the dev's give a good reason about the camps not healing BF? I can understand the lesser camps but why not the Big boy that us Master Rangers get?

Ok that's all i'll write for now, probably for the next couple of weeks. Sorry again for beating this horse again, and for not researching it too see if it was addressed.

Sounds good. Is there any reasonwhy you wrote "scouts are given X new traps for their 4 skill boxes" instead of "scoutes are given 7 new traps (9 if you include the2 in novice scout) for their 4 skill boxes"? Argument seems to lose its point when you don't specify exactly how big the difference is. X could be anything, including 1.

I never did consider that... interesting. That is quite possible. However, I do get spotted on Test Center a lot by those as well. I did have ONE event were I was camo'ed and they did not shoot.

My "musing" that there is a number rollover someplace making really, really good odds into bad. Need to test this sometime...

FYI: what I mean by a number rollover is akin to the classic Short Integer boundry effect where the number 256 looks like -127 to the computer.
