Where do you guys like to camp the most? Me, I always try to find the tallest mountain to do it on. The snow covered mountains on Corellia are awesome as well as some on Tat. I did one on Dath and loved it. That was the one time of month that Dath had daylight of course.

I've found one spot on Dath that is on a VERY steep hillside, and overlooks a little valley with a static spawn of 3 Rancors. I think of them as my pets, and I make sure to keep them well fed (call it cruel if you want, but I find and tame critters which I send in on an attack command to 'feed' my Rancors.) My other favorite spot is along the west coast of the big puddle south of Dantooine Agro outpost. All the way south is a great lakeview hillside, replete with fishing and hunting opportunities.

I love camping too. Its quite fun and relaxing to just sit and watch things around you.

But I went through ranger 2 times before and this third time the camping xp is a paincuz I missed the master ranger title and wanted it back. One of these things where you can see the goal and it drives you nuts if you cant get to it.

But I still love to camp. I even camp in different types of camps just to bring a change.

One place I love to put a camp on Dath is a little outcrop I named Last Stand Hill. Its about halfway between the two outposts and about 1k meters west. I place a camp on the west side with the grass and just sit.

Reason I call it Last Stand Hill is because a long long time ago me and some friends were hunting NS and came across a spawn of heavies next to that hill. By the time we got to them it was just two of us in group. Jandau and myself. We decided to take the cloner home so we stood with our backs to the hill and fought NS like crazy. Actually survived 12 of them before I fell then Jan. So I call it Last Stand Hill. Even have it waypointed as such.

No, you're not the only one. I personally enjoy dropping camps out on Endor and watching the weather change. Not sure why but it's very relaxing.

When I need to relax, Endor is my destination.... I can camp on one location for hours (Huh,me crazy???... rofl )

Camping is good fun. Had a guild fishing competition a few days ago on the bank ofa river on Naboo. We were sitting in my HTFB fishing. Felt so good with all the good comments about the camp makes me wish there was more reasons to use one

I often go out the out the gate just behind the Starpot in Mos Eisley, walk out into the vally just far enough to set up a Base or a Camp of one kind or another, and just hang with teh n00bs. I keep a case of each of the CDEFs that I made a schem for when I was a Maser Artsian (dmg 30 -61 vs those sad 17 - 35 helps a bit) in my pack. Good way to remind you're self you're here to have fun.

That's a great idea! One of the most fun things is helping noobs but being Ranger I tend not to meet very many unless I've initiated them into the guild as I'm so far from civilisation all the time... stealing this idea! *runs away giggling*

I must be wierd. I love the camping too, but I found a couple of good spots on Dathomir, where the moon is amazing.

In fact if you remember the old Ranger website, it was one of the banners we used.

I often drop a camp down somewhere and just sit and chat to guildies who are about and anyone else who drops by, makes fora very social way of playing as all the new guys come to see a decent looking camp or just something a bit different. Of course the extra xp they provide is always welcome hehehe
