Logged on this morning to test. It's about 1/3 the time as before to get list up. I still got a Transport Shuttle in my list hehe.

"I still got a Transport Shuttle in my list "

- So.... Still a couple of things appearing that should be.

- How about corpses? Are they still being listed?

Has anyone tried using it in the deep wilderness? My biggest problem with area track was that it only worked for already spawned creatures. So if you were far from where other people go, you couldn't use it.

- In the animal track? Was that where the Transport shuttle was also listed?

"My biggest problem with area track was that it only worked for already spawned creatures."

- That is a more fundamental problem with /areatrack than GreenMarine had time to tackle.

- There should be a tracking option to locate the spawn points rather than the spawned creatures.

- That way you can find the lairs for creatures that haven't spawned yet, and just wait around for the lair to spawn its population of critters.

NRass, there's one enhancement request with /areatrack that I think is worth pursuing for later updates.

I'd like to be able to issue an "/areatrack animals" rather than having to pick from the list. This just saves a step is all and would be easier to deal with from a useability standpoint.

Thanks,

Razu

- That one is already on the list actually...

My work around, is just to wait/camp in the area I want to hunt for about 5 to 10 minutes. Once you "seed" a zone, then it starts spwaning fairly consistantly. Then as you move around, you will spawn the near by zones.

I actually have issues with it not showing pets. I know why they took it out, because it is annoying when you dont need it.

I however frequently lose my pet even when its supposed to be following. I used areatrack several times to locate it.

I was thinking perhaps that pet locating could be an option, like in the list you choose :

Animals

Animals & Pets

Pets

Other than that, I like the changes. I also hope ATST's still show up on the list, but I haven't tested that yet.

mmmm... In report writing you typically save space by condensing similar items. Consider:

Tabage (340m) (sw)
Tabage (345m) (sw)
Tabage (352m) (sw)
Tabage (385m) (sw)

and

3 Tabage (346m) (sw)
1 Tabage (385m) (sw)

Perhaps similar items near each other can be condensed a little?

50 still seems to be the cap.

Takes about 5 seconds to areatrack.

Doesn't show dead stuff.

Range is still 500m.
