Well. Fishing has become more important than ever. With the exclusion of Medics gaining XP for healing CH pets, the most Fundimental way is to have a Bio-Engineer make Pet Stims for you. Master BE's can make Pet Stim D's (on the average of 1150+ HAM heal). But to do so, they need Fish. So break out the pole boys and twileks, Fishing is now IMPORTANT, and a GREAT money maker.

I just wish they would speed up the fishing process a bit (too bloody slow), or else make some type of Fish Harvester!

so what exacylty is a GOOD ONE in regards to fishing pole.. what determines it's quality?

Remy - your right about pet stim-ds needing fish. However most BEs I know said they will not even bother to make the Stim Ds. This may change with the medic-xp nerf or it may not. I'd suggest finding a Master BE (if you can since most are droping the skill) first and working out a relationship before you spend alot of time fishing to make money. I'll be glad when they givexp for fishing.

Have they fixed it to where you can mount fish other than using the stairs bug??? If so, time to start fishing....

Have a medic make ahealth or action wound medpacknamed "Nowi's Saltwater Aquarium" or something. I've seen other similarly creative uses out of those things. Of course, you want them to use only the best resources such as Talusian water and link-steel aluminum... only the best for your fish

I have found that fish make good bioluminescence for traps as well.

So far I've gotten a 0.98m blackfish as my record (I only keep blackfish.) That one also had the record so far of 25 meat on it. I have a 79.0 quality fishing pole, its uber. hehe.

Maybe you think fishing sucks but its a good stress reliever especially when you are in tell hell and can't really do anything productive. And hey, I've sold fish meat for 15c per unit, so its not a total waste of time.

Nah I was fishing with High Quality on Corellia. Just stand right next to water still on land and make the camp. I usually get water weeds in my camp swaying back and forth like they should still be underwater. Then stand on edge of camp and fish.

If you don't get it close enough you should be able to go back every couple minutes and maintain the camp.

Maybe they can put in Kick the Can for you fishers so you can have an alternative.

I love the idea of fishing in SWG. The thought of logging into a full on war zone in order to let your character destress (Should we get a BF mod for this?) some while we're doing the same thing IRL by playing seems like a great touch. I like the idea of logging into SWG and doing something non-SWG related. I hope they implement more odd things like this. I was laughing with a friend today and came up with the idea of turning battlefields (since they don't always work) into large factional dodge-ball parks.

Maybe instead of being tagged out, getting hit affects your HAM bar so you can get hit more than once before being warped out. Just think about how some of the special attacks some of the elite professions would affect the game? Head Shot, Groin Shot, Overcharge Shot 2!

Rebel vs Imperial Air Hockey? Football? Dunno... I think I'll go give the slot machines a try.
