Thread: First Field Base last night... whoo!
I just set up my 1st FB. Ahhh... what a feeling!
Unfortunatly, I'm in the middle of no where, so no onw can see it...
But - once my friends come on line and see it - WOO HOO!
The Hi-Tech Field base rocks. There is no better feeling (in-game) then to throw one out and have peeps make comments like, "OH MY GOD!". 
I think giving the camps an auto-disband timer is a good idea. One that increases with experience. At the minimum a Master Rangers Hi-Tech should last a while if I'm in it or not. I don't get XP, it costs a bunch of resources to use and the devs have been tampering with slight realism in the game so a fortified campsite that doesn't auto-disband should not be thta big of a deal.
The part about having a safe place to go if the camp is semi-permanent is a non-issue. It only works part of the time, I believe some sort of percentage chance. If you don't believe me you can ask the Veermok Scout and Veermok Hunter that strolled in and attacked me.
