Thread: Our Next Question for TH

No matter how much food or drink you have, you can keep getting food or drink and you never ever get full.I'd be a little concerned about all this, but I'm just so relaxed I can't seem to be concerned with all the pretty colors I'm seeing...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Message Edited by Phenix1050 on 06-23-2004 01:56 AM
The biggest reason why I went ranger was the fact the community is very very small. This makes me happy, as the people who are in it love the profession...not getting it because it's 'uber' or whatever else people want in a profession. Even though I have some nice titles available, I still use my ranger one since I like that best.
Just as long as they don't make us too strong.
Please don't speak for me, friend. I can appreciate your opinion and you are entitled to it. I, however want a Ranger profession with some backboneto it. I loveroleplaying the lone wookiee hunter with his worn but sturdy ryyk, wandering in theharsh environs of the galaxy and living on the fringe of existence. That's not tosay that I wouldn't appreciate a little Ranger love from the Devs, though.
This community is small because the skillset is largely useless. We aren't crafters, we aren't warriors, we aren't healers. We are one step removed from theafk macro-dancers. We have a pulse.AFK campers look elsewhere! You are not welcome among the living. This smacks of the elitism of the weak. Blessed are we for we shall inherit Tatooine!
It may be preferable or even laudable to be that way in your everyday life, but this is a game. It's ok to ask questions and expect answers. I take issue with one premise of thisentire thread. I don't give one whit what the developers think this profession should be. They aren't the ones paying to play.We are dealing with two different development philosophies. The first is the customer based philosophy where we tell them what we think is fun. The second isadvertising based where they tell us what we think is fun.
I am not concerned about their labor shortages, coding problems, funding issues, equipment failures, deadlines, reports orany of the other myriadobstacles that plague this and every othercorporation. What I am concerned about is the type of cat-o-nine-tails it will take to permanently lash the phrase "good enough" out of their collective consciousness.
DarkTrumpet, I don't mean to single you out, but I don't see Ranger in your sig. What I do see is Rifleman, CombatMedic, Doctor. That's probably a good thing.Biblically speaking, pride and meekness neverreally mixed well, anyway.

hell, I'll just sendthem a bottle of hooch. Maybe if they gets drunk, they'll let loose the secrets of where Rangers are going.
perhaps the question should be: Will Bothans Rangers ever be able to use the English (or Basic) language without spelling words incorrectly or making syntactical mistakes a 6 year old could edit?
HEHEHE!
And if you want a post to get noticed here, I have a sure fire way. Ask about AFK Camp Macros. You will get all the attention you could ask for.
ROFL Calculus I really liked that one

As I understand it, the "19 Questions" alternate between two groups of 19 professions on a weekly basis. So, week 1 sees group A get an answer to one question posed by each of the prfessions in that group, week 2 sees the remaining professions recieve their answers.
A quick look through Dev Tracker or a search for 19 Questions should chuck up some more info, as well as giving you a chance to see the sort of questions, and answers, relating to our profession* that have come up in the past.
*Yes, I know, its a lifestyle, but context is everything.
