The bow is a good idea but only in the form of a bowcaster. The if the trapping tree were to be changed to a new hunting tree including bowcaster certification, bowcaster shots and traps I would be a happy ranger. A massive increase in difficulty is needed in this tree and to offset its new difficulty would require greater rewards. The advanced trapping tree is inadequate for the skill points it requires. At this point my understanding is that the bowcaster is a Wookie only weapon in terms of weapon crafting and certification. I understand a racial preference but I don't like the idea of racial restrictions in a game which ismade great by the freedom it offers. When I am hunting i usually use the glow wire trap and trap that slows the creatures movement. I want more functionality from this tree and giving Rangers a combat weapon is a great way, why not make it a bowcaster.

nice list, but the things i want more than anythingelse is
1. Conceal to work on other players
2.traps to work on creatures handler pets
3. traps to work on other players - i mean really! this is common sense, if a ranger can throw a Adhesive mesh at a squill, why not a drall?

"1. Conceal to work on other players"
"2.traps to work on creatures handler pets"
"3. traps to work on other players"

These items are listed... I presume you are just expecting more emphasis towards them?

This round the community believed there were more pressing issues...

Perhaps in the next Top 5 issues, we can put more emphasis on PvP.

The State of the Profession available via my signature has been updated.

It has been resorted in the order of priority defined by the Top 5 Report.

There is now a color code defining where things are in development.

The orange issues should be of particular interest to you all, so pay close attention.

Please note the wording of Affected by Future Changes (the color reference is at the bottom of the list).

I can not say how they will be affected, only that the issue the items are related to are being looked into.

----

This is all the information I can provide you...

But it should sate some of your concerns, and probably start a whole pile of murmurings.

Good Hunting.
