I seem Image Designer in your future unless you learn how to fight.
Now, ever consider using conceal shot? P darts? Or do you just stand there and expect stuff to die in two shots? Standing there will get you killed very quickly. Use some brain cells and move your feet. We do have some decent TN yanno. Try using a droid to help, like a pro bot fighter.
Or you can play "Duke Nukem", stand in one spot and die a lot. Your choice.
Do a search on how to fight, there are only like 20 posts on it, for pre and post CU.
JB
Actually as he himself stated, he does use Conceal shot.

What exactly are you hunting?
Level?, species?, Missions or not?

While you CAN solo krayts, if you are asking how to do it you probably want to get some practice on easier mobs. Soloing krayts is not something you just decide to do one evening and expect to win. And you will definitely not want to lie prone and wait for him to chow down on you--use your snares and keep on the move. If you end up standing still for too long, you will end up as krayt food.
I use the first one in most combat situations but it's especially useful when the critters have ranged attacks. I find a nice sniping spot which is 65m from the creature. This takes up most of my time because you've got to make sure there are no dips in the ground between you and the creature, otherwise it will almost always go out of sight during your first few hits (of course it gets even more frustrating when the creature moves
The second tactic is useful when the creature has a lot of health. Again, start at 65m, go prone and /aim. Use sniper shot, stand up and when the creature is around 48m throw a pdart. Immediately start to run backwards and use headshot and rangedshot repeatedly as before. Make sure you stay 60-65m from the creature. When the snare wears off throw another pdart when it gets within 48m again. The only thing you have to worry about is when the traps don't stick. However, you're only in trouble if it happens succesively and even then you'll only take a few hits until the next on sticks (unless you're really unlucky
I use the other tactic when I'm doing speed-hunting and have plenty of stims, or even better a healer. Simply go prone 65m away from the creature (doesn't really matter about the terrain), /aim and sniper shot. Stand up and start using the headshot/rangedshot attacks again while taking the damage. Quickly heal up again and move onto the next creature. One thing to note though is that this tactic doesn't work very well when the creatures have ranged attacks. In those cases almost always stick to the first tactic.
I hope that helps. Recently I've been tempted by going Ranger/CH but every time I think about it I realise how much I'd miss being a Master Rifleman. IMO, they got the best deal from the CU out of all the combat professions and it still fits well with my fighting style.
Good hunting!

'Snare' This comes in two forms for you-Phecnacine Dart and Kneecap Shot. Use both, and re-apply them when they drop.
'Kite' Never, ever, ever stand still. Run, uphill when possible... most baddies don't have your +100 Terrain negotiation. Use that to your advantage.
And as a final note - don't let JB get to you. Most of the words that best describe him around here aren't suitable for polite company, but he is a damn good ranger, and usually knows what he is talking about.

If you don't use them already I would highly recomend you purchase a crate of instant stim d's, that heal at least 1k health. I am using some 1150 ones. You can use one once a minute. I can solo missions up to 82 because I use stim d's. Health regen food also helps to reduce downtime between fights, just remember to sit down to heal.
Pick up some Ruby Bile. It lets you use Stims immediately.
