Mandalorian is now Assault Armor. Rangers are certified for Battle Armor. It's something we lost in the CU (although some people would argue this is a good thing as Battle Armor is more balanced and we can still wear RIS).

So that's it? I'm out of luck? too bad for me? etc.. etc..? wow, that really blows.... this was one although not the only reason why I wanted to try ranger, glad to see it was all worth it.

The good news is that you can be a Ranger/ MBH and wear Mandolorian armor AND RIS. Pretty good combo, actually.

This is horrible! I return to find my new title on the forum is "Jedi". What's up with that? If they wanted to confer that I'm rare and learned, they'd make my title RANGER. and then make it camo colored.

Subject says it all, I'm a Master Ranger, I was under the impression that MBH's, M Commando's, M SL's and M Rangers were all able to wear/equip mando armor? or at least that's what it says when you examine any piece.

Yet when I try to equip any piece of it I get the standard/annoying "you lack the certification to wear this blah blah blah..."

So what the hell? this was to be one of the highlights of becoming a master ranger and it gets robbed from me.

Do I need to be declared overt? is the fact that I'm a female/female toon have something to do with it? maybe my CL60 status? and not being CL80? (I'm a Ranger/Merchant).

So what the hell? Any Ideas?

Back on topic though, with Mandolorian being certed as Assault armor, it means that only Commando's, Bounty Hunters and Squad Leaders are able to wear it post Combat Upgrade. If you send in a /bug report about it, they'll change the description on Mandolorian armor. Probably just removing the mention of professions in the description.

In my opinion, Rangers should get assault armor, as most creatures are melee and kinetic anyway.

Lastly, major props on getting Master Ranger with Merchant, that had to be a pain in the ...

I never thought that mandalorian armor and rangers really "fit" anyway... SL, BH, Commando... yes... Ranger not really.

still, i have my full suit of BH armor just in case.

and now that im a MBH, maybe i should work on that

play knights of the old republic 2 sometime then. some of the Mandolorians on Dxun sure seem alot like Rangers, at least in the sense of being big game hunters, and jungle guides.

but don't play 2 without playing 1, or you'll be all confused.
