Well, I have nothing to spoil since I haven't been just yet. This post is more of a request for spoilers. Especially for people who've been in beta.

I mainly like to explore and figure out things for myself.. but sometimes I like to take shortcuts. So.. if anyone wants to post stuff about Kashyyyk, post it here for those interested, so we don't ruin the surprise of anything.

My first question: How do I get there?? I'm guessing you need to launch into space, and hyperspace there, rather than travelling via starship terminal.

I agree that it's fun to explore on your own too. But, I'm stuck at work all day and am busy tonight. I'll take spoiler knowledge over nothing!!

Is it really out yet? I don't want to get in trouble!

One thing I can say is seriously talk to the NPCs with the little i over their heads. I stopped doing this on live because their missions tended to be dinky, but on Kash they will lead you to other quests, into space, to diff. planets, etc. And some of them have pretty cool rewards.

There is also an Asteroid dungeon that you can fly to and land on.

It's out Paks.. The downtime this morning was to patch it in. This is for pre-order (well, digital download) people only though. It's not yet in stores.


Unfortunately I can't seem to claim my varactyl mount.. Not only that, but I've still not claimed any veteran rewards, but looked at the menu today only to notice I'm considered "90 day", and the rewards reflect that!!! Even though this account is well over a year old.

YOu have to pick your 90 day reward before you get access to the other level's rewards, do you not?

Those wondering about the asteroid instance its fecking amazing. That, along with the Myydril caverns is where ive been for the last fornight almost none stop because these two areas are none stop fun.

The devs have gone all out with those 2 zones and the caverns is truely gob smackingly well done. I cant wait to see the reactions when you enter the underground caverns hehe.

Okay then - here is my spoiler. If you ordered the download you get a level 10 non-CH veractyl BUT if you are an MCH you can do a quest that will allow you to steal a veractyl egg, hatch it, and raise your own to its full high CL level! Very much fun. I was able to do this quest as a MCH/MRanger with marksman rifles IV. I did not have any pets to use at that point so the MCH was just for show. I did have to use a bunch of stims however.

Oh really? I didn't know that, but that would explain why I only have 90 day reward options. It says I've claimed the 180 day reward though, but that's the Yacht.

I'll try that and see if it works, but I'm still not sure why the varactyl mount isn't showing up.

Thanks Calc! That was the problem.. the Varactyl reward won't show up, it seems, until you claim your other rewards. Whew..


Great info so far guys.. I'm headed to Kashyyyk (probably with the rest of the server!) to check it out for a bit.

The first thing I did when I landed on Kashyyyk was to try and run up the nearest hill to get a view if the area. Only to find invisible walls. They seems to be common in the area around the starport.

Well I found the quest to start space mining, it is on the first level of the big tree, and the guy is standing near the railing in the bar section. Target on of three big doors in the big tree, use the radial menu to go to the level of the door is named after.

Not if I could just find one of thoughts space station, that is supposed to buy the space minerals...
/mumbles something about the lack of /areatrack in space.
