We know Smuggler revamp is before us though. I actually see it as a good sign. They are getting it out of the way so they can work on us FINALLY!!!

But I am confused... I thought Squad Leaders were first.

squadleaders apparently are out brothers in arms now as their skills do not work in PVP!

Old news... this has been said several times already, and Greenmarine already stated that was the case at Celebration 3.

Smuggler ravamp, SL revamp, BH... then ranger. How could they possibly give an ETA on our revamp when smuggler isn't even slated for a certain date?

Or are you just trying to stir up negativity?

Well, they said smuggler, SL, and BH are getting revamped before they even think about rangers. Anyway, remember..ahh...a year ago when they said they were starting on the smuggler revamp, lol. I dont see them revamping them anytime soon and I definately dont see them revamping us. Hell, the jedi might need force tracking or something, we cant have them needing for something rangers.

Hey Drak, you have the same template I do. I like it. Its the type of ranger I like to play. Well, it will be when our specials (especial camo) works against players/npcs. I dont know any rangers that kill creatures, lol, well maybe in some mystic middle ages game, lol. The rangers I know are compantant and dam good at it.

Well a sad thing happened to me last nite, a guild mate MSmuggler/MBH and I where on the Rryatt trail, I was takeing him throu the lvl's so he could help me on the final quest (and maybe give me the tk master weapon at the end ). Along come this group of 3 doing the same. Well I wear my MRanger tag proudly, all ways will. They start talking to my mate ask him what he is doing, if he would like to join them......they completly ingored me...I am no use what so ever...not even wanted....I felt so useless.....anyway on topic, by the time we get the revamp, I will be Grand Master Jedi and 900 years old like Yoda, and I don't grind, just play....well there is allways the alt.

i noticed

the best thing about the CU is that BH finally became a viable option for rangers, and being a SL is a lot of fun for me.

I can hold my own pretty well now.. and i love the hunt, and i love being a ranger.

I think we just have to accept what we have and don't have, and move on with life.
If that means we are no longer rangers, then so be it. If you look at all the work
they have in front of them in bug fixes and other profession revamps, you would have
to be AMAZED it it's fixed a year from now. One thing that is left out of your list
there is that they are working on some of the crafting professions as well. They
recently made comments about revamping a few of those.

It's clear to me, and should be to all of you that Ranger will be revamped once they
have nothing better to do. By then I'm hoping to switch to the new Star Trek MMO
that's in development. There doesn't seem to be many other promising sci-fi mmo's
on the horizon.

I respec'd to master BH from master Rifle yesterday. I've been
a BH in the past, but I have no desire to hunt jedi. I like the
mix of survivalist/hunter/combat it brings.

What does the squad leader skill give you? Never looked at it.

SL 0300 gives you 2 great specials, plus 10 general accuracy and speed, plus 35 or 40 defense verse melee and range. Not to mention the cool pistol cert and strat 3. The specials add speed and accuracy to your group. Its very helpful and it makes a world of difference to the MBH/Master ranger template.
